Chapter Six: Witch Hunt

As The Calamity Trio released each other from their hug, they all looked at each other and saw that they had changed. Not only was their hair completely their respective color, but they now had armor similar to the sets they had back when they first fought against The Core in space.

Anne still had her tiara, but she had no cape and her armor was much more simple. She still had the same golden chestplate with the symbol for Amphibia on it, but her shoulder pads weren't as big and her arms and legs were covered in golden armor now too. It was as if she was some kind of knight.

Sasha, however, had a vastly different design. Spikes were still on her shoulder pads, but nowhere near as big. Her gloves now had golden spikes on her knuckles, likely to add some extra punch to her attacks. Her spiked tiara that was almost like a horn was still there, but her glowing pink hair was no longer in a ponytail made completely of fire. Instead, small flames were sparking at the edge of her hair.

Marcy also had a much simpler version of her old armor. She now had a similar chestplate to Anne's, with a green Amphibia symbol on it instead of blue. She still had fur on her back and of course, a green cape...which had combusted in green flames.

"AH, C'MON!!!" Marcy shrieked as she began stomping on her cape. "WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!?!"

King rubbed his eyes. "What the heck happened to you?!"

"Looks like the Calamity Powers are back after all!" Marcy said as she finished putting out her cape.

Eda scratched her head. "I've seen some weird magic in my day...but I've never heard of anything called Calamity Powers...cool name, I'm gonna steal that."

"These are basically super powers." Sasha said. "Marcy came up with the name, so you're gonna have to go through her for it."

Marcy put up her fists. "I mean, it makes sense! Also: BRING IT, I ALREADY TRADEMARKED IT!"

Anne hummed before she smirked. "If they're back...then that means we can do this!" She exclaimed as she and her friends suddenly began hovering into the air.

King's jaw dropped. "YOU CAN FLY?!?!"

Sasha grinned. "Oh, we can do so much more than that! Watch!" She cried as she smashed through the door.

"Sasha, wait up!" Anne said as she went after Sasha. "C'mon, Mars! Let's find Luz!"

Marcy smiled before scooping King up and holding him like Sasha did earlier. "C'mere, little buddy! Now I'll show you fast!"

King yelped a bit, clutching onto Marcy tightly and immediately preparing himself for the worst.

Marcy then turned right to Eda. "Are you coming, Miss Eda?"

Eda chuckled. "As much as I'd love another adventure, I've got a school to take care of...but King better not get hurt or I swear to Titan, you won't live to see what happens..."

Marcy gulped, but then gave a thumbs up before she sped right out the door, still holding King. She caught up with her friends incredibly quickly thanks to good old fashioned super speed.

"Lead the way, King!" Anne said with a grin.

The Calamity Trio then flew up into the air and zoomed right into the sky, trails of blue, green, and pink behind them.

Unfortunately, the journey took a lot longer than expected. King apparently got nauseous during the flight and they had to stop to let him puke. Once they returned to the air again though...they had a crash landing, because sadly, the powers were still temporary. On the bright side, they landed where they needed to be.
