The group stood before the time machine, ready to put an end to the ripple effect that had caused so much chaos and destruction. James felt a pang of sadness as he looked over at his velociraptor friend, knowing he would have to say goodbye.

"We're ready," Isaac said, turning to the group. "Let's do this."

They all stepped onto the platform of the time machine, feeling a sudden rush of energy as it powered up. The machine hummed and whirred, and the group braced themselves as they were sent hurtling through time.

As they arrived in the present, they could see the devastation that the ripple effect had caused. Buildings were in ruins, fires burned unchecked, and dinosaurs roamed the streets.

But there was a glimmer of hope. As they stepped out of the time machine, they saw that the ripple effect had been undone. The buildings were intact, the fires were out, and there was no sign of any dinosaurs.

"We did it," James said, relief flooding through him.

The group exchanged hugs and high fives, relieved that the nightmare was finally over.

James turned to his velociraptor friend, who had followed them through time. "I guess this is it," he said, feeling a lump form in his throat.

The velociraptor nuzzled his hand affectionately before turning and running off into the distance, back to its own time.

As the group made their way back to civilization, they knew that they had been through an experience that would stay with them forever. But they also knew that they had come out the other side, stronger and closer than ever before.
