James and Isaac had been working on the time machine for months, trying to perfect its function to ensure a safe trip back to prehistoric times. But as they activated it, something went wrong. The machine started to malfunction, and suddenly, they found themselves in a completely different location.

As they stepped out of the time machine, they realized that they were not in the prehistoric era they had intended to visit. Instead, they were on an island, surrounded by lush forests and pristine beaches. But what caught their attention the most was the sound of distant roars, and the unmistakable shapes of dinosaurs in the distance.

The time machine's malfunction had caused a ripple in time, transporting them to an alternate reality where dinosaurs now lived on these islands off the coast of their hometown. The events of the prologue suddenly made sense.

James and Isaac had to find a way to fix the time machine and return to their original timeline before any further damage was done. But they also couldn't ignore the fact that the island was teeming with prehistoric creatures.

They decided to explore the island and try to find any clues that could help them repair the time machine. As they made their way through the dense jungle, they encountered various dinosaurs, some of which they had never seen before.

The danger was always present, as they narrowly avoided attacks from a pack of Velociraptors and a territorial Triceratops. But they also marveled at the majesty of the Brachiosaurus and the ferocity of the Allosaurus.

They knew they had to be careful and proceed with caution. But at the same time, they couldn't deny the excitement of being surrounded by prehistoric monsters. They had to balance their desire to explore this new world with the urgency of fixing the time machine and returning to their own reality.

Little did they know, they were being watched by a group of scientists who had been studying the island's dinosaur population for years. These scientists had their own agenda, and they were not pleased to see outsiders on their island.

The arrival of James and Isaac had disrupted the balance of their carefully maintained ecosystem, and they would do anything to restore it, even if it meant eliminating the newcomers.
