Cotillion

The party is in full swing on the boat, Evie did a marvelous job with my dress and shoes once again along with a short notice of Luna's dress, her dress looks stunning too. Everyone is dancing having a great time , but stopped when Lumiere walks out to announce the royals. Trumpets get blow for lord Jay and lady Mal. They both walk down looking nervous. Mal takes Evies hands "I feel like I'm going to throw up." The vks laugh as they turn again when the trumpets blow to announce the King and Queen. "Introducing Queen Briella of Auradon!" I walk out in my beautiful gown and crown. I see my parents at the bottom along with the vks. Everyone bows for me. "Work it girl!" Lumiere tells me making me giggle. I walk down the stairs and stop when my dad hands out his hand for me to take. "You look beautiful daring." In lush "thank you daddy." I met up with Luna and Jay. "How do you feel?" He smiles downs to me and wraps his arms around my waist "I'm great I think Mal is nervous though." I pull Luna to me as we listen to the trumpets blow again "that's understandable." My brother comes out after Lumiere announces him. We all bow for him also. "Go get him!" I hear Evie tell her. Mal walks toward Ben. Ben bows and she does the same.

"Mal I wish I had time to explain." He tells her as the doors open to reveal UMA! Mal gasps as people start murmuring. Everyone turns to look at Mal. "What is going on?" I ask to no one I particular as I watch my brother go up and take Uma's hand and walk her back down the stairs. As he bends down and kisses the ring on her finger, I look over to Mal and she has a heart broken look on her face. Uma giggles as she takes Bens hand.

Ben starts talking to Mal again "sorry, it happened so fast. Something happened to me when I was on the isle with Uma....A connection." I give my brother a disbelief look. "What are you saying?" Mal asks him "I'm saying..." Ben starts, but Uma finishes for him "it was love!" She giggles. Ben agrees saying it was. "I just, I realized how alike Ben and I are, you know?" I start walking toward them, but Jay pulled me back. "We are." He says as he smiles to Uma. "You're so beautiful." Mal still stunned and heartbroken. "Ben..Ben." She shakes her head as he looks at her. "Did you go back for her?" Uma turns and starts talking to Mal "he didn't have to, I dove through the barrier before it closed and I'm an excellent swimmer, so" Ben compliments her saying that she was and she giggles back a thank you.

Uma grabs Mal's hand "listen Mal I really want to thank you." Uma chuckles "I do, for everything." Then she shocks me by hugging her "thank you thank you so much!" I narrow my eyes at Ben as he steps up "don't you see Mal, you were right. You knew that we weren't meant to be together that's why you never told me that you loved me. Thank you.."

The music begins to play as Ben and Uma dance. Evie grabs Mal as I walk over to fairy godmother. "Something is not right. That's not my twin." I watch the vks in sadness, their faces just broke me. "Not too thrilled I risked my life for him." Lonnie walks over to Mal telling her that they are with her. I walk over to my parents watching this unfold. Jay walks over to Mal, he looks to me and I nod "let's get out of here." All the VKs walk past us, My parents stop Mal as I stop Jay "take her with you, this going to be a long night. Probably me ripping my brother a new one. I love you, please never forget that." He smiles and kisses my lips. "I love you too, come on Luna" he picks up Luna twirling her around as she giggles. "Mal we had no idea, honey we are so sorry." I walk over to them "I'm going to talk to him."

I watch as Jane runs up to Lumiere "Lumiere, unveil the gift, they need to see it." The light flashed "and now for the unveiling of King Ben's masterpiece designed for his Lady!" Trumpets blow as the veil comes off, it was the beautiful stained glass window. Everyone clasps I turn back to Mal as she stands in awe. "Ben did that?" I smile walking up beside her "yeah he did" she starts to cry "oh Evie" she grabs Evie's hand and they walk down the stairs to go see it. "Ben's known who I was all along." Evie turns to her "He loves the real you Mal." She sighs "a true love" Evie nods her head yes. "I told you!" I watch as Ben stares at the painting Uma yells out angrily "cover that back up!" Lumiere replies "I will not" Uma turns and chuckles nervously "um why don't you tell everyone the present you have for me Ben?"
