Ruby was getting more and more concerned about ellie not eating, but she's been too scared to bring it up because of what happend last time.

Ellie had told joel about her and ruby getting back together and he couldn't have been happier.

He thought they were perfect together.

They were laying in bed together, the sun was rising as ruby was facing her, ellies arm around her waist.

an orange glow filled the bedroom and ruby could hear birds singing outside and the window was open, letting in a fresh breeze.

She loved mornings like these more than anything.

Ellie was still fast asleep as ruby watched her.

She studied her sun-kissed skin with freckles scattered across it. how could anyone be so beautiful.

Ruby slowly sat up, careful not to wake her up as she got out of bed and walked across the wooden floorboards.

She went downstairs and turned on the kettle as she got out two mugs.

She rubbed her eyes as she place a teabag in each of the cups and walked to the fridge to get the milk out.

Once the kettle was boiled she poured it in and steeped it before she poured a bit of milk into each cup.

She brought the tea back upstairs and placed one on ellies nightstand.

She pushed a hair behind ellies ear.

"Hey" she said softly.

"We gotta get up"

Ellie stirred and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Come on" ruby said, lightly shaking ellies arm.

Ellie opened her eyes and looked at her before grabbing her hands and pulling her back into bed.

"No" ellie said, half asleep.

Ruby laughed.

"Babe we have patrol"

"No, I wanna get high and have sex again" she groaned.

Ruby stood back up and grabbed both of ellies arms, pulling her out of bed.

"I'd love that but we can't be late to patrol or jesses gonna be a dick about it"

"Come on I made you some tea" she said as she picked it up and held it in front of ellie.

Ellie took it and sat down as she sipped it, her eyes still closed.

Ruby walked over to closet and pulled out some clothes and layed them on the bed.

She lifted the t-shirt she was wearing over her head and then slid her pajama shorts off.

This seemed to wake ellie up.

She watched closely as ruby undressed.

"What?" Ruby asked.

Ellie smirked and looked back down at her tea.

"Nothing" she said.

Once ruby was dressed she walked over to grabbed her backpack and began throwing things in.

Ellies opened the closet and got out some clothes.

Ruby looked up and watched just as closely as ellie began undressing.

"Hypocrite" ellie smirked as she pulled a t-shirt over her head.

Ruby chuckled and continued packing her bag.
