When ellie woke up she suddenly felt wave of anxiety when she saw that ruby wasn't next to her.

She sat up and looked around before she noticed a pink post-it note on Ruby's pillow.

Ellie took it and squinted as her eyes were still adjusting.

"Went out to talk to Maria about patrols. Be back soon. I love you ♡"

ellie let out a sigh of relief.

After the incident in the kitchen she's been so worried about her.

She would have a panic attack if ruby went out without telling her.

Ellie knew this wasn't good but what if ruby got a flashback again?

What if she felt like cutting herself again and ellie wasn't there?

She didn't want to think about that.

Meanwhile ruby was at the bar talking to Maria.

"So me and ellie have decided we're actually gonna keep living together so I don't need to find a place anymore" ruby said sipping her drink.

"Thats great news! I'm happy for you guys" said Maria.

"Thanks!"

"So since my ankles all better now I just wanted to talk to you about patrols"

"Well the group patrols are all full right now but I suppose you can join ellie in the paired patrols. dina can do it with Henry, he's old enough now to start doing paired patrols and he needs a partner who's experienced enough"

"Thats great!" ruby smiled, trying to hide her excitement.

"Tomorrow ellie can show the procedure, I'll give you guys an easier route for your first day"

"Alright, thanks Maria. I'll see you later"

Ruby got home and called for ellie as she closed the door.

Ellie walked down the stairs and smiled when she saw her girlfriend.

"Hey, what'd Maria say?" She asked.

"She said we can do patrols together because Henry needs a partner and dina is experience enough to do it with him"

"Thats great!" Ellie said excitedly.

"I know!" Ruby said hugging her.

Ruby held the sides of ellie face and kissed her.

Ellie held her waist.

They kissed for a while before ruby led her to the couch and pulled ellie ontop of her.

"What are you doing?" Ellie whispered into Ruby's mouth as she smiled.

"You know what I'm doing" ruby said as she kissed along ellies jawline.

"I wanna hear you say it"

Ellie switched them around so she was ontop.

"I want you to fuck me" ruby said as she kissed her

"Good girl" ellie whispered as she pinned ruby underneath her.

Those words broke ruby.

She quickly took ellies shirt off, then her own.

She kicked off her shoes and ellie began unbuttoning rubys jeans.

Then Ruby began unbuttoning ellies.

They took off each other's bras then ellie slid Ruby's jeans off and threw them on the ground and ruby did the same to hers.
