Chapter 22

Heading back to the hotel I was sitting next to Leah who was making fun of me for 1.being nervous and 2.for asking for fashion advice. Which in fairness she does have the best style. It was a blur when I got into the hotel I've never had to get ready so quickly, I had dressed in a cream cargos and a black corset top and a jumper as I didn't exactly know where or what we would be doing. Not long later I got a message on my phone telling me she was outside. I slipped out through the door and quickly out the front door so I won't get stopped and asked a lot of questions.
Once I get out the door I see Ona leaning against her audi (don't know her actual car) damn it looked hot. I walked over and she gave a small kiss on the cheek followed by a "you look lovely guapa" "thank you and so do you"I replied. We got into the car with the radio on with Spanish songs and light conversation. Ona would not tell me where we are going no matter how many times I asked her to.

It was nice the drive only took us around 30mins as there was no traffic as it was getting late. We ended stopping at an open field with other cars in front of a screen which I realised we were at a drive in cinema. I think I got whiplash Turing my head to Ona "how did u know I wanted to go to one" "it was on your story like everything else" Ona laughed and gave a slight smirk while staring at me.
"What are we watching" "something you have never watched before and yes I know because it was on your story" I gave it a thought "mama mia?" Ona nodded now I know it's weird ive never watched it before I just never had the time.
We got some popcorn and drinks before the movie started by the end we were leaning against each other.
When it finished it was pitch black and we started to head back. "Thank you for taking me out" I said "anytime guapa it has been a pleasure" Ona said. While Ona was driving and singing the Spanish song on full blast I couldn't help but stare at her tanned face and freckles everywhere. Until she caught me and gave a wink and I went red.
We got to the hotel and Ona parked outside "I will see you soon" "we won't be playing ye again" I said questionably "I'll see you at the euros we might play against ye" I laughed " Querida I won't be picked for the euros" Ona just smirked "you never know and off you go before you get in trouble" I thanked her again, gave her a hug and went inside. When I walk into the lobby who am I met with? I am met with most of the team when I say most it's everyone but the younger girls like Pelova and gio. All of them were sitting on the couch's staring at me. "Off to the meeting room" Beth said and I follow all of them there. Not a word was said for the entire walk. I walked into the room which had one chair right at the front of the room and all the others girls sat infront of me. Not saying anything for a while until Beth started "so y/n as the youngest we are here to protect you and 1. I personally don't think you should choose Ona 2. You need to fill us in about what happened." Everyone nodded in agreement. I was confused why not Ona?what's wrong with her?
"Mmmh we went to a drive in cinema, got food and came back" I rambled nervously. I started to sweat and my leg was bouncing. Until they all erupted in laughter. "Y/n we were just messing your okay" Leah said coming over to me "ya y/n it's your life as long as your happy no matter with who" Beth said giving me some relief. "We do care about you y/n so just come to us if you need anything" Kim added. All the girls agreed and I filled them in on a bit more information before heading off to bed. As we have to get up early for bed. I took a sleeping pill as per usual as I feel a bit of anxiety and ptsd coming in from a trigger from earlier.
