Returning back to the world's pace as time returned to 'normal', Wally unintentionally surprised the doctor.
"O-oah!" the doctor screamed with widened eyes as he stumbled back, knocking fragile glasses and tools to the floor. The doctor seemed to need a few moments before he calmed down and recognized the costume. Yet, in an unsure voice, the doctor asked, "Are you the Flash?"
The misunderstanding may have something to do with the similarity of the costume as he cleared the wrong. "Close. But I'm Kid Flash."
But wanting to skip the pleasantries, Wally immediately went to the chase as he hoped to convince the only doctor that could save his scientist friend – Dr. Jerry McGee. "Please, my friend needs you." Wally implored the doctor to go back with him to the U.S. As his friend was put into stasis to buy time. Otherwise, Jerry may already be dead.
However, as Wally would have it. Doctor Orloff refused and he did it hesitantly.
"What?! Why?!"
"Because-" with a groan, he began to explain.

The moon seemed to be after midnight, and that meant the night would be gone in several hours, which also meant that their advantage in concealment would be lost.
Therefore, with time of the essence, the squad has begun increasing the pace as there were several times a patrol vehicle nearly discovered them. Yet it was thanks to the night and howling wind that muffled and hid a squad that size. It would be such a shame to be detected when they have crossed so far into enemy territory, undetected at that.
The first sighting that the squad had on the world's inhabitants dissipated previous assumptions, especially if it was a hive world infested by deadly abomination and plague by the Chaos God; Nurgle. However, although it did not come to that, it still came with a different set of problems regardless. Since, instead of chaos spawn, it was now whether the human world was technologically advanced to have comms that were capable to send messages to the Imperium.
It would be absolutely horrible if it was a human world still before the age of machinery and technology.
But regardless the mission has been doing reconnaissance, not an infiltration, but as luck would have it. "Get me a vox, I need to debrief with the Kommisar." Having a vox available was detrimental like any military structure would need to function as an organization – communication was key to success.
Although the vox could perhaps intercept long array signals – producing weak and static voices – the vox is unable to do anything else than listen. Since attempting to contact wherever the origin of those signals is simply impossible. In short, the vox just wasn't capable of transmitting way over its range. Then again, they weren't trying to contact the Imperium. The Watchmaster was contacting the Kommisar.

As the patrols increased and the watch towers and outpost became a frequent sight, there was no doubt that the squad was nearing closer to the center of the base. The request to further the mission was granted by the Kommisar with several conditions. Most notably to infiltrate as the term suggested – undetected – but by all means, eliminate targets that obstruct their path.
Upon their arrival at the institute, staying behind the edges of the forest – to remain hidden – before an open field that stretched about a good distance until the barbed fences that surrounded the base. It would prove to be a challenge, especially with those watch towers and their spotlight. Then again, what was the difference between that, and a night raid toward an enemy trench. Both methods required infiltration.
Not wishing to waste the cover of night, as the moon gradually set, the Watchmaster began to devise a plan.
Judging by pure estimation, the institute was large, meaning there would be many doors and rooms to check until the infiltration team would get so lucky to find the main comms. In addition, bringing in the whole squad would be incredibly be just a large target. Which brings back the topic of an infiltration team.
"With me"
Having picked three grenadiers who were at least capable of performing the maximum in their ragged state, it would have to do. Meanwhile, the others would remain in their current position and keep an extraction point open for the infiltration team to exit. It was a solid plan and offered cover fire in case they had to escape enemies chasing them.

"I can not leave my 'Children' behind."
The doctor explained his reason as he released a sigh, elaborating that unless his 'Children' can be brought along; the white-haired and bearded doctor will remain at the institute. With no other choice, the Kid Flash relented to doctor Orloff's condition as he hurried the doctor to call his 'Children' for their departure.
Relieved at Wally's words, the old doctor immediately reached out to his computer terminal to contact the people he calls his 'Children' to meet up – making it urgent by announcing it as an emergency.

Having successfully crawled through the open field, the four-man infiltration team began to cut through the barbed wire and then onto the fence. The blind spot has been located by the grenadier she has chosen and the team immediately redirected their approach. With the spot somewhat away from nearby light or watch towers, the team was making quick work while remaining undetected. Until a pair of boots and a talking voice walked over to their position.
In an unknown language, both soldiers as indicated by the rifle that they carried began to speak and smoke, the Watchmaster silently watched along with the grenadiers. Nothing else transpired as both soldiers let out laughs and smile until they concluded their little break.
Truly, if both soldiers only took the time to really take in their surroundings, they would have discovered the four guardsmen laying on the ground by their feet. The cut wires on the fence should have even been noticed by them since it was the most obvious. The lack of discipline in those soldiers was something that she would not permit among her grenadiers, although that would be unnecessary due to their devoted and disciplined nature.
With a hole in the fence, the four guardsmen crawled through it one at a time. Now, they were officially inside the enemy base and their mission has finally begun.
In a single file, the Watchmaster led the team from the front as she eyed their surroundings for spotlights and the occasional patrol in the area. So far, she has successfully avoided alerting the enemies by sticking to the walls behind the buildings and its small alleyways. Until luck would run out, as it would seem that there were no other buildings close enough to the suspected main structure.
Looking around as she devises an alternate route, she decided that the best option would be to move among the massive number of tanks parked in the open area – supposedly a place to refuel, perform inspection and leave it unattended. However, where there was a lack of patrol, the searchlights doubled. Occasionally, there were times when the grenadiers and even herself were nearly caught before miraculously sidestepping or out-right, jumping out of the way to avoid waking up the place. (Reference to MGS3, when infiltrating the base and then pretending to be Major Raikov)
But despite the slow and risky approach, the Watchmaster and her team were no doubt making progress.
