It's official now, I hate this day. First, I was late to my first class which earned me a lecture from Mr.Paxton for interrupting his precious class.
I caught Sabrina shooting daggers at me in the hallway, giving me a look of you-are-going-pay-for-that-bitch which made me roll my eyes and return a look of I-don't-give-a-damn.

And here I am, in Mrs Smith's class trying to put my head in the subject but utterly failing at it. My grades in math always make me and my parents worry. I'm a straight A student in all the subjects but math is a totally different world to me.

"All the students of the senior year are requested to assemble at the gym after lunch. " The principal's voice came out of the speakers of the classroom.
Everybody in the class began whispering to each other wondering what it could be about.
"Silence! " Mrs Smith yelled, her face burning red. With that the class fell silent and Mrs Smith continued her class happily with I had no idea what.

When lunch rolled in every single student in the senior year were discussing about why the meeting was called for.
Dear god, please make sure that it is not a lecture on sex. I can't bear the awkwardness which will be filled in the room.
"Do you have a clue? " I asked Ashley who was smiling at something on her phone. She shook her head not even bothering to look at me while replying making me raise an eyebrow. She is definitely texting a guy.
After the incident with Ashley I learnt one thing for sure, do not judge others when you don't know them. You have no right to, if you do you would be the bad person in the scene.

"I haven't seen Kim since morning, do you know where she is? " Sarah asked popping out of nowhere. Ashley dint bother to look up, she was still busy texting the guy away and was blushing fiercely.
"She's out with Jarred. " I said casually.
Sarah being her over-dramatic self scoffed.
"That little bitch dint mind to inform me? " She asked.
"Take a chill pill Sar, she knew you would interrogate her, she wanted to save it for later. " I said.
"Don't worry, you can drop your question bomb when you next meet her " Ashley said with a chuckle, finally paying attention to what we were saying.

Sarah raised an eyebrow at her face which was flushed red. I motioned her that I will tell her about it and she mouthed you better.

We took our seats on the bleachers and I was forced to sit between Ashley and a stranger.
I looked up to find the stranger looking at me.
"You were the one that hit me the other day." he mentioned. 

"I dint hit you! I just bumped into you. You were standing in the middle of the hallway, not my fault. " I said, my tone embarrassed.

"Well, you have eyes. You should have seen where you are going. " he said. 

"Oh god. Please save me." 

"Oh god, please save me." he imitated me.

"By the way, I'm Finn and you are?"

"I'm Shannon. " I introduced myself.
"Um, Shannon is too big for me, how about cupcake? " He asked.
"How is Shannon big when the both names have same number of letters. "
"I already said, Shannon is too big for me Cupcake . "
"Yeah, you just want a reason to give me a nickname, don't you?" I asked.
"You can say that. " he said, sticking his tongue out.
" Now that we are on nickname basis  let me give you a one, how about the annoying muffin? Sounds great to me! " I said.

He was about to say something in reply but the principal's voice grabbed his attention.
"Good afternoon students, I know that everybody is curious to know the reason of this meeting. As you all know, our school takes the senior year students on an excursion to different places every year, and I am glad to announce that this year are going to New Hampshire ,camping for a week! Interested students should pay a certain amount of money to go to the tour, for all the details information see the Notice boards. "

I turned to look at my friends faces which were filled with happiness. Sarah was at a verge of doing her happy dance and Ashley was ready to join her.
"What is this all about? " Finn asked.
"It's like a tradition of Weston High to take the senior year students on an excursion every year as its their last year in the school."

"Can I get your number. I swear I'm not creepy, I don't know anybody in this school. You seem to be nice."

"Here, take my phone and feed your number and I will do yours." I said.

When I gave his phone back to him he changed the name from Shannon to cupcake.

"Quit calling me cupcake. "
"Never in a million years. " He quoted.
"But why cupcake? " I asked.
"If you haven't noticed, your bag is full of cupcakes on it."

I looked down to look at my back buy caught Ashley and Sarah smirking at me and Finn. Oh no, not again!
"You know what, I'll see you around. It wasn't nice talking to you. " And I turned to head towards my friends.
"Oh no, don't even think about it." I said.
"Think about what?  We weren't thinking about anything. " Ash said acting innocent.
"I know you guys very well. Let's go, don't you guys want to know about Kim's date? "
Ash whispered something to Sarah making me raise an eyebrow.
Nobody can change them, but I like them the way they are.
