Chapter 8 - Black Magic

I know, it has been ages since I updated.

"I'll kill you!" I shouted as I ran after three of the girls with a flower vase in my hand.
"We are innocent, we don't have a clue what you are taking about! " Ash yelled.

"Oh, you started it! " I shouted.
I charged at them when the girls stopped to take breath.

(That morning)

Wait what?
What is he talking about? I guess he is hallucinating, when the hell did I invite him?

"Um, I don't remember... " Kim cut me off before I was able to finish what I wanted to say.
"That's great! Make sure to come to the party. Will see you there, bye. " She said in a rushed manner and dragged me towards the direction of our first class.

"What was that all about? " I snapped at her.
"I'll see you later Shan, I have to meet Mr Paxton, bye." with that she disappeared into the crowd.

Time flew quickly and soon it was lunch, my favourite part of school.

"Take a sip of the secret potion, I'll make you fall in love.
For a spell that can't be broken,
One drop should be enough."

I hummed the song on my way to the cafeteria.

"Girl you belong to me, I got the recipe." Finn sang pointing his finger towards me, adding a dramatic effect to his song.
"And it's called black magic!"
We continued together.

I held my laughter, eyeing him from top to bottom.
"What?" He gave me a questioning look.
"Never thought you were a little mix kind of guy. " I said.

"It is a nice song. It grew on me okay? " His pointed nose was now red as a tomato.
"You are so cute, you know that? " I said playing with his already messy hair making it fall onto his forehead.
"Cute? "

Did I just boost his ego?
"Whatever. " I said.
"Dude, when is the party tonight? " He asked.
"At eight . We dint pass on the invites yet, who told you about it? " I asked.

"You, duh!" He said.
What? What's up with people saying that I invited them to the party.
And then it hit me, those bitches. They promised me that they will not do it again.

They are going to pay for it. They should probably practice running for their lives today.

"Hey Finn, why don't you join me and the girls for lunch? "
"Thank god you asked. I thought you would never ask!" he exclaimed happily.

He put an arm around me and led the way to the cafeteria.
When my friends saw Finn's arm around me they whistled.

"Don't mind them,they are crazy. " I said.
Once we took our seats Sarah winked at me.
"Shannie, introduce us your new guy friend. " She said.

"Guys this is my friend Finn. Finn, this is Ashley, Kimberly and finally Sarah." I said while pointing each one of them.

All the three had a sweet smile on their faces seeing me with him.
Oh! It is not going to last forever, only if they have an idea of what is going to happen to them once we reach Kim's house.
All the five of us, including Finn distributed the invites to everybody after school and drove home.

(Present time)

"Okay, I give up! " Sarah said breathing out heavily.
"Accept it then. " I said.

"Fine! We did it. We took your phone to text Aaron and Finn because we knew that you would never do that!" Kim yelled.

"I don't want to hook up with someone, I'm perfectly fine being single!" I lied.
"Shannon, we know how much you like Aaron, we also know that you will never dare to tell him that." Sarah said.
