It was the morning of a very special day. A special day to the twins over everyone else. This day was known to most viking kind as Loki day, a day of endless pranks and tricks to honor the birthday of the god of mischief and magic himself.

Very early that morning, Fishlegs had gone out to the beach and found something very peculiar. He called all of us into the Clubhouse to explain what he had seen.

Toothless and Eclipse were curled up together in the corner of the clubhouse fast asleep as Fishlegs explained. I wasn't paying full attention as I was busy sketching out the Dragon Hunter's symbol, still feeling strangely connected to it for no apparent reason.

"It had two heads, maybe three and it made this weird sound, like nothing I've ever heard before... it was like a- like" He then made a strange, horrible sounding screeching roar. I cringed and dropped my pencil so I could cover my ears.

Snotlout looked at him in mock shock, "Oh my Thor, that was amazing Fishlegs!"

"I know right!" Fishlegs said in excitement.

"Wrong!" Snotlout spat in annoyance, "Not getting me on Loki day! If it isn't already obvious to you all, I'm much smarter than-" He went to step out of the clubhouse and then got caught in a rope that tied around his ankle and pulled him upside down.

"Oh, you're obviously much much smarter, Snotlout." I teased him as I shut my sketchbook and walked over to join Fishlegs and catch a view of the prank.

Both of the twins popped up out of nowhere just at the right time, "Loki'd" They yelled in sync.

"Hah hah, fine you got me..." Snotlout grumbled as he crossed his arms and his helmet fell off of his head, "But I still don't believe Fishlegs about that creature in the Lagoon."

"Creature in the Edge's lagoon, just when you thought it was safe to take a bath in the lagoon.." Tuff muttered, making it seem dramatic. Everyone went completely silent for a split second until Snotlout piped up again.

"Okay, any day now." He rolled his eyes.

"Toothless," Hiccup called for the Night Fury, who woke up and walked over. Toothless fired a blast that cut Snotlout's rope, making him fall onto his face. The twins snickered and high fived each other for their pranks.

Fishlegs looked at everyone seriously, "You guys can Loki all you want, I know what I saw."

"We've been swimming and fishing in that lagoon for months, Fishlegs. Don't you think we would've seen something if there was something to see?" Hiccup questioned him and I couldn't help but agree.

"Are you sure it wasn't just the light coming through the fog?" I suggested with a raised brow, "It can play really weird tricks on you, especially at that hour."

Tuff smirked, "Sounds more like someone got Loki'd by the fog!"

"It wasn't the fog, you guys! There's something out there, something real, and as usual, you won't believe me until I prove it." Fishlegs grumbled. He was obviously annoyed and sort of angry we hadn't believed him. I sighed to myself as he walked out of the clubhouse.

After he left, Fishlegs jumped onto Meatlug and flew away from the base towards the lagoon. When they landed they set up to start fishing. Fishlegs tied a rope around Meatlug and hung a fish on the very end of it, letting it trail in the water. He leaned against Meatlug's side as the two of them waited for the strange creature to appear.

Fishlegs kept humming softly to himself as they waited, but eventually, as time dragged on, both he and Meatlug fell asleep. As the tide rose, it came to lick at Meatlug's front legs and out of the blue a huge electric shock washed over the two of them, scaring them both awake. They both shot up out of the water and moved in different directions. Fishlegs landed in the water again and noticed that there was in fact a dragon in the water.
