"Alright, Meatlug, there we go." Fishlegs was murmuring sweetly, "Good girl."
I smiled brightly over at Fishlegs as I worked with Eclipse, lugging heaping piles of cooling sheets of metal to the Twins. The two of them were helping flatten out the lumpy slices of metal. Barf and Belch were pummeling the metal with their heads.
"Hey, you know what I realized? This is a new record for Gronckle Iron production!" Fishlegs giggled gleefully, "Who's a good iron-making machine, yes, you are!" Meatlug wiggled happily, her tail wagging giddily. Fishlegs hugged her tightly.
"Whatever." Snotlout snorted, "If it weren't for Hookfang, that would be a glob of useless barfed-up metal."
"Well if it weren't for Barf and Belch..." Tuff began, gesturing to the two-headed dragon as they beat the metal with their faces.
"We rest our case." Ruffnut smirked.
"Uh-huh..." Snotlout pursed his lips.
"Ehem," I cleared my throat, raising a brow at the twins, gesturing to the metal Eclipse and I were lugging it to them.
"Okay, okay, they're helping with it too." Ruffnut conceded and I sighed deeply.
I rolled my eyes, "Come on, let's keep working." Hiccup had asked me to keep an eye on everyone as we worked since usually things were prone to getting way out of hand.
After hours and hours of working, everybody was exhausted. I was starting to understand as I was getting there too. Hiccup returned soon after Eclipse was tiredly dragging metal across the stone floor of the arena, when Hookfang started to lose his fire and Meatlug couldn't produce anymore lava. And the Zippleback had begun to sway tiredly in the wind.
"Uh, Hiccup." Fishlegs spoke up, "I think Meatlug might be ready for a break, She's starting to lose her gag reflex."
"Guess the perfect little machine isn't so perfect after all." Snotlout teased, smirking smugly.
"Have you checked on your dragon?" Fishlegs raised a brow at the Jorgenson, "The Giant Oven doesn't look too perky either."
"Huh?" Snotlout hummed as he turned around and saw Hookfang snort and collapse out of exhaustion, accidentaly blowing a gout of flames toward Barf and Belch. The Zippleback snarled toward the Monstrous Nightmare at the close call, shooting him a glare. A brawl broke out among the dragons. Barf and Belch pounced on Hookfang, who shrieked and accidentally smacked Meatlug who immediately joined the fray.
Eclipse graciously stayed out of the fight and glanced at Toothless. The male Night Fury tried roaring for the others to stop, but it did nothing as the other three dragons continued to rampage around. Fed up with his friend's actions, Toothless leaped in to try and separate them manually, but to no avail.
"Really?" Hiccup scoffed, "You too, Bud?" The auburn-haired boy sighed, "Alright, that's enough. Dragons! To your corners!" He tried demanding, but his voice couldn't be heard above the loud growling and snarling coming from the brawling beasts.
I glanced at Eclipse right as she glanced at me, a humorous, knowing glint in her eyes.
"Care to take this one, girl?" I smirked and she chirped eagerly in response.
She let out an ear-piercing roar, static trickling along her scales and across the stone floor, moving quicker as the metal laying about conducted it. As soon as one dragon touched a piece of electrically charged metal, all of them froze as the shock spread through them. Eclipse growled a single command as soon as they all went silent, Toothless hung his head in shame alongside the rest of them.
