It only took a total of 2 weeks for the commercial to display. Many calls was made to the nara family house. Shikamaru underestimated the total of blond boys in Japan. So today was another meeting with the lawyer and his mother. Lately he was staying over at his mother's house. He didn't go to work since he didn't inherit anything.
"So tomorrow we will be hosting a ball to find the right person for my son." Yoshino exclaimed. Shikamaru rolled his eyes, his mother was too excited about this. "Yes all the blonds you requested would be coming." Inoichi added. Shikamaru could only nod.
Tomorrow was going to be such a drag to him. How would he get through the ball with tons of boys all over him? He would just drink himself to sleep if it got bad. That night he went to his room and slept comfortably. He needed to make the most of the alone time he had until he got married.
In the morning he saw all the maids running around the house decorating. The theme was gold black and red. The tables was gold and black with a center peice of red roses. The curtains was red and golden. Shikamaru would be dressed in a black suit with a golden and red rose decorated tie.
As the night was coming his mother showed. Not only was his potential brides going to be attending this party but his fathers friends. Which was the uchihas, the hyuuga, the akimichi and the yamanakas. When the first knock was heard through the house shikamaru froze. This was going to be the start of his hell.
No! He wouldn't let that happen, he would find a way around his father's will and get the company all he needed was time. He needed to stall the most time he could. Until he came up with a plan. With him noticing the ball hall was full with blond women and men. Which very irritated.
He specifically told his mother and the lawyer that he wanted only blond males. But here the hall was filled with most women. No that's not true, it was filled with all women there so no men what so ever. He was more sure he could deal with a man then a women.
While walking to go talk to his mother about canceling this ball he saw temari who was dressed in the tightest most revealing red and golden dress. Split on both legs, and wore a red, floral head band. Shikamaru just cringed when he saw her she was trying to impress him too much.

Temari and his mother was casually talking with one another. Which he could all assume was his mother assuring her that shikamaru would marry her. He just sighed and walked to them, he couldn't avoid her forever. "Hello mother I was sure of what I requested for this mariage." He gritted out.
Temari used that as an opportunity to talk to him. "Hello shikamaru it's nice to see you again. I am very sorry for your lost." She said. He only ignored her and rolled his eyes. He didn't have time for her to try and get all good with him, no not after hiw they ended.
It was both their last year in highschool and since she wanted to make sure they would last forever she talked to his mother to arrange them a marriage. When his mother talked to him about the marriage he quickly denied. He and shikamaru had the biggest argument which resulted in their break up.
