-More notes at the end.-

Ugh, so sticky.

And blurry, jeez.

-

Donnie sat up, blinking and rubbing at the inner corner of his eye. He got up and threw his hoodie on, grabbing his empty cup of coffee and headed out into the lair.

When he left his room, he was hit by the smell of something from the kitchen.

I guess Mikey's awake.

Donnie was on his way to breakfast, when S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. flew down to talk to him. "Did you sleep well?"

"I got five hours of sleep," Donnie answered, "I'm gonna get breakfast and then attach the- the.... hmmmm."

His vision went blurry, and his legs gave up. Donnie caught himself on the wall, almost dropping his cup.

Crap.

Maybe pulling three all-nighters in a row wasn't the best idea.

"Whoa, Dee, you good?" Raph came out of his room.

"I'm fine."

...

"You want me to bring you down there?"

"Sure."

Raph picked him up, letting Donnie sit in his arm. "Mikey made pancakes. You want some?" The older turtle asked. He wanted his brother to eat.

"Depends. Are they plain?"

"Yeah, made some just for you!" Mikey answered as they walked into the kitchen. "Leo wanted to throw them like a frisbee."

Donnie flinched.

I hope he's not still mad at me.

The box turtle tilted his head.

Raph set Donnie in a chair.

"S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N., could you get Don some coffee?" The drone waited. "Please," Donnie added. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. flew off.

Leo walked in the room, beaming, like he was about to cause some mischief.

He looked at Donnie, and that smile slowly left.

"Jeez, D, when did you go to sleep?"

"Two in the morning."

"You look like you got hit by a truck."

"Be careful, or I'll be hitting you with a truck."

...

Leo smiled. "Sorry about yesterday."

Donnie nearly spat out his pancake. He swallowed nervously.

Raph must have made him say that.

He looked over to where his older brother had been, but he wasn't there.

Why would he apologize if Raph wasn't even here to see it?

He whipped his head around, spotting Raph coming out of the bathroom, heading off to his room.

Maybe Mikey.

He glanced around again, but the turtle was nowhere to be found.

Donnie looked back at Leo.

"What're you looking for?"

Maybe he means it. But what's he sorry about? He didn't even do anything.

"Nothing. I forgive you. And stuff. I'm-" He looked around again.

What's happening?

"I apologize too," The softshell said.

"Great! Thought you were gonna choke on that pancake for a second," Leo laughed, sitting down across from him.

Donnie's brother let out a sigh of relief. He hadn't really thought about it, but Leo had looked nervous.

You think I want to go back to the Prison Dimension, wondering if I'll ever see my family again?

Oh.

I see them every fucking night Donnie.

Oh.

I'll be reminded that if you guys get hurt, it's my fault.

"Shit."

My mistake, and maybe you guys would be better off-

"Without you," Donnie whispered. "You say something there, D?" Raph asked, not waiting for him to answer before heading to the other side of the kitchen to check on Mikey.

Donnie looked up at Leo, with that- smile on his face.

Does he really think that?

Hope you like it!

I had a lot of fun making this "Chapter," though I think it's more of a page.

Sorry if I'm slow in updating this, but I have so many ideas for stuff zooming in my head every second it's difficult to get something down sometimes, or to choose what I like best.

Have a good day!
