Mias POV After school was over I called my mom and told her I was ready to leave. While I was waiting bill saw me and came to me running giving me the biggest hug. "Hey so did you like school?" Said bill "i mean yeah it was alright just someone was annoying me today" I said while looking at Tom. Then bill said if were still gonna meet up at the skate park. I told him yeah ofc! Then my mom came. "Ready to leave!" Said my mom. "Yeah just give me a second." I shouted to my mom. I told bill ill see him at the skate park at 6 and then bill gave me a goodbye hug. I felt someones eyes on me and i saw Tom giving bill a death stare I didn't think much of it.
I got into the car with my mom she asked me who those boys were. I told her those were my friends they live right next to us! She smiled and we were silent the whole time back to our house. I put it on and it was so comfortable. I went downstairs and told my mom i was going skateboarding with some of my friends. She just smiled at me and told me to have fun! I got my skateboard. I was skating fast because i was running late it was 5:59 and i was like 5 minutes away when i arrived they were there waiting for me. Bill saw me and run up to me! "Mia what took you so long" sorry i was getting ready I said while trying to catch my breathe. "Its fine don't worry" bill said. I saw tom talking to sum girl for some reason i felt jealous but i ignored it. After awhile of skateboarding me and bill went to the park we tried telling tom but he would ignore us. We were on the swings. I asked bill why is tom so rude to me. Me and tom shrugged so we did bill said he will be it we told him okay he gave us a 1 minute to hide. Me and tom ran to the big field. We hid behind a tree trying to catch our breathe. I looked at tom his eyes were so mesmerizing he caught me looking and said what? I said nothing while giggling. We heard bill yelling our names and trying to find us but we were quiet me and tom were kinda close. He looked at me and i looked at him. He started leaning in as soon as our lips were gonna touch. Bill yelled "BOO" me and tom jumped and we started laughing. We all had to go home so we skated together.
We were talking then bill said "I saw you guys almost kiss" tom eyes widened and i started blushing. I said no he was just close to me and tom said yeah i was just close to her. Bill said yeah sure and then we made it to my house. Oh btw whats your guys phone number i said tom and bill gave it to me and i said Well ill see you guys tomorrow at school. Bye bill i said and we hugged. Tom kept staring at me so i said what do you want a hug to? He said "EW NO WAY" while rolling his eyes. Wtv i said i walked in my house i went upstairs looking for my mom.
She was in her room and she was yelling at my dad thru the phone i put my ear on the door and i heard my mom say "you gotta let mia stay here atleast for 2 months and 1 week" she said my dad yelled and said "NO 1 MONTH AND THATS IT" he hanged up. My mom was sobbing and my heart dropped. I went running to my room and locked my door i was sobbing and i layed in my bed starting to fall asleep. Until i heard a knock on my window. I jumped and saw who was at my window. It was tom. What do you want i said while my voice was cracking. "Holy shit was happened you seem sad" he said i turned away and i told him he had to go trying to not look at him. He came in and hugged me from the back i wanted go away from the hug but it just felt to comforting.
I turned to look at him and i just started crying while my head was on his chest. I told him im only staying here for one more month then im leaving. He said " WHAT" in shock but then i pulled away from the hug and said "don't you hate me so why are you here" i said. He told me he wanted to apologize for everything i told him it was okay. But i told him he had to go since it was late. He said "alright feel better" he pulled my chin up facing him and kissed me on my forehead. I smiled and i started blushing. "Bye tommy" i said giving him a nickname. He smiled and left.
