New horizons unfold right before your lovely eyes.
This peaceful road will never end; beyond, whatever lies,
We'll tread it soft; with passing time your sore feet will soon heal.
The sweet wind caresses your cheeks with such a pleasing feel,
And here we stand. Under this starstruck canvas of the sky.
Beneath, an oh-so-true feeling pervades our hearts like light.
The meeting eyes let no word out. Yet both hearts know it all.
And yet there's no sign anything will come between our stroll,
With a sideways glance, I catch a fleeting glimpse of the tear you've held.
But even your dreary face is the prettiest I have beheld.
Twilight will not hold long now; it's back to the worldly chores,
But like the waves will not stop coming back to the seashore,
Standing at the crossroads, when passers by ask me, pray, these roads lead to where,
I'll say, when you don't know where to go, any road will sure take you there.
