Chapter Two: Tricks and Sticks
I stood eyeing the amount of valiants at my disposal, shit... Taint wasn’t kidding at how many were gonna show up, I clear my throat before opening my mouth, “Okay, Truth, has assembled in another base that of course, I do not know of.”
Tom crossed his arms next to me, “And, as of now... we have reports of MORE vandalism in the city,” He turned to Kira who shook his head... his black spikey hair swaying softly.
“One in the town hall, one on the main street-“
“ONE ON THE EMPIRE Flag?!.. how did you guys get there?!” Tom asked.
I clicked my fingers infront of his face, back to the attention. “Guys, as great we are, THERE IS NO NEED TO BE SO COCKY!” Silence filled the meeting room, “Every single one of you, WILL be scrubbing every single bit of paint off, UNTIL the items that have been violated, SHINE!” Tom snickered next to me, “On a different note.”
I look at them and smile, “We will need to infiltrate the old base,” Thirteen hands shot straight up, “We need more people, Think.” I show my gloved hands, “Of those thirteen, who has a driver’s license?” Two hands stayed up in the air, “Exactly,”
I close my eyes in thought, “Those thirteen, please stay behind, the rest, you will now, SCRUB THE FUCKING MESS YOU LEFT BEHIND!” I smiled, “Now, meeting closed.”
The thirteen brave valiants stood before Tom, Kira and I, “Hello.” Tom waved casually, and I look at him with a smile, “Well, we don’t like working with people we do not know a thing about, tell us your names!”
One waved, “I’m Andy,” He had reddish black hair, and green eyes, with VERY pale skin, “I do know how to drive... I ran over Miss O’Bi once.”
I smirked, “Do you attend Lockyer University?”
He nodded, “Yeah, why? Do you?” I stood there frozen, ‘shit, my cover might be blown’!
Kira coughed, “Nah, we are acquainted there.” I mentally thank Kira.
Andy smiled, “Oh, cool!”
Another boy raised his hand, “I’m Kent,” He smiled with his blue eyes, his short brown hair showed his round face, “I work instead of uni,” I nod slowly, He seems cool... My heart stopped, I didn’t know Taint was here!
I smirked, “You drive?” He shook his head, damn...
A boy raised his hand too, then took off the hat... ‘SHIT HE’S A GIRL?!’ “I’m Arlee,” She looked like Brittney Spears! She smiled, “I don’t drive either... yet.”
I nodded, and smiled, she was cute.
I look at the rest, who seemed to sweatdrop under my glance, Taint coughed, They are spies... I inch towards them, “Well, are you guys ready to prove your loyalty?”
The thirteen nodded, I pull out the two guns and aim it at all of them, “Then, you will- “ Tom stood by my side, and caught my glance, “prove it by dodging my bullets.” I smirked, and the ten spies looked at me wide eyed, “Now, before I shoot, any of you want to come clean!?” I barked at the thirteen.
Taint smirked, nine are spies, my mistake. I sighed, and shoot one of my guns right at Kira, who fell to the ground, “See? He had no loyalty, he should’ve seen it coming.” Tom looked at the rest with no expression.
Eight of the recruits came forward, “We... are, spies...” I bare my teeth, “The leader of Truth sent us to investigate,” the three I talked to earlier seemed scared of me.
