In the early mornings of April 7, 2016, Emma Maria Stark arrived back in New York City, New York. From the JFK airport, Emma traveled to the Avengers Tower to grab some clothes. Plus Nala and the dog's things. Desmond and Brandon were downstairs, waiting for her in the parked SUV outside the building.

With a couple bags of clothes, plus a bag of Nala's essentials, and the dog on a leash, Emma headed out of the building when she suddenly came to a stop. Her eyes slowly averted upwards, eyes glued to the glass window room above her. Tony's lab.

An awful thought came across her. A thought that would be awful in her father's book, at least. But it still came across her.

She was thinking too much ahead. She was calculating too many things at once. She was acting too much like her father. And at that moment, she hated herself for it. Yet she let her intrusive thoughts win.

She headed up the stairs, keeping her eyes on the lab at all times. She dropped her things before the threshold, keeping Nala at bay before hesitantly entering the lab. She looked around for the item she wanted. The item she needed. To not feel so vulnerable anymore.

And she finally spotted it. The wrist-control. She quickly grabbed it, clicking it onto her wrist before gazing at it. She then pressed on it and she almost smiled when the Iron Man-glove covered her hand. Just as it did for Tony in Berlin at the UN Bunker.

She taped her wrist again to deactivate the control before grabbing another one she spotted. She then quickly left the lab, shoving the two wrist-controls in her bag. And with that, she left.

QUEENS, NEW YORK; At the Parker residence, Aunt May had just left for work leaving her almost 15-year-old nephew, Peter Parker to himself that Thursday morning. He was eating cereal, watching the morning news when everything that happened in Romania and Berlin while he was asleep was reported. As he continued to watch, the worse his panic rose.

From Miss America, Alexandria Romanoff Rodgers, preventing the arrest of Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier. To be arrested along with her father, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson. To the attack by The Winter Soldier, injuring multiple people. But one footage that was shown was from outside the building he was contained in — Black Widow was shown fighting The Winter Soldier. But at the very edge of the TV, Peter could have sworn he saw...Emma on the ground, hyperventilating with Desmond kneeled down next to her.

Peter slowly rose to his feet from his couch when he saw on the TV Desmond scoop Emma in his arms, running off in a different direction. The footage switched to the newscasters in America, causing Peter to yell out, "No, no, no, go back! Where did he take her? — Go back—!"

He was cut off when there was a knock at his door. He scoffed, shaking his head in annoyance before he headed towards the apartment door, not checking to see who it was. But when he saw Emma on the other side, holding a million bags in her arms while also holding Nala's leash, Peter blinked a couple times in shock.

This continues to happen to us and I don't like it, he thought.

As Emma let Nala's leash go, and let the pup rush into the apartment, Peter noticed the saddened look in her eyes. She didn't say anything else. She just dropped her bags before stepping into his arms, feeling everything wash away. But as her problems washed away, so did the tears welling in her eyes.

When he felt her crying, Peter wrapped his arms around her back, pulling her in closer, if that was possible. He placed his chin on top of her head, now tall enough to do so.
