April 10, 2016, Emma and Peter spent the whole day together. It was a Sunday and Aunt May thought it was a good idea for Emma to get out. She'd been inside the apartment, going nowhere except to the brunch house since Thursday. Pepper stayed in a nearby hotel to keep close to Emma, but had to fix a situation at work, therefore, couldn't see Emma that day.

The two ate breakfast at Mom's Breakfast & Bar with Nala, as they usually did. They ordered their regular plates of waffles and pancakes with sides of eggs and sausage. And after Emma paid for their meal, the two went to a park with Nala.

Peter had his camera on him, the strap wrapped around his torso while he held a skateboard in his hand. The two walked around for a while, talking amongst each other, so smoothly and comfortably. Like it had always been between the two.

Peter stopped a couple times, taking pictures of Emma and Nala on his camera when they weren't looking. And when Emma did catch him, he caught a picture of her laughing. Beautiful...

"No, I can't do it..."

"Yes, you can. It's very simple..."

At some point, Emma and Peter got to the skateboard area of the park. Nala laid down under a nearby tree, watching as Emma shakily stood on Peter's skateboard, gripping hold of his arms while he held her tight, trying to help keep her balance.

"I'm gonna fall, Peter!" Emma laughed.

"Don't worry, I'll catch you," Peter told her with a smile.

Emma grinned nervously as Peter slowly let her go, giving her a small nudge and the skateboard began to move forward with her on it. Her legs continued to shake, her arms stretched out to keep some kind of balance. And it worked, for just a little while.

"I'm doing it!"

"I told you you could."

But then it came time to when Emma would have to move. Peter told her she would have to step her foot down to move directions, but when it came down to it, Emma froze. Peter yelled out for her to move, but she couldn't.

The skateboard ended up hitting into a little rock, which completely knocked over the balance of it, as well as Emma. She yelped as she tripped over, stumbling to the ground.

"Crap...Emma!"

He ran over to her, immediately feeling guilty for pushing her to try and learn. "Emma," he muttered once he got to her, quickly pulling her to her back, thinking she was hurt. Only to find she was laughing and his worry dropped into irritation.

"I thought you got hurt," Peter said, nudging her arm, but his mocked angry only made her laugh more.

"Aw, you care about me!" she grinned and his lips lined in irritated annoyance before he nudged her arm again.

But when he did, Peter was surprised when Emma caught his arm, continuing to laugh in amusement while he was trying to not smile at the sound. Emma struggled to keep his arm still until she yelped when he slipped his arms around her back, rolling them over in the grass.

When they stopped, Peter was on top of her again, holding her in place as they held intense eye contact. Emma's laughter faltered as she blinked a couple times, gazing into his brown eyes.

"Of course I care about you," Peter softly said, getting lost in her eyes and scent again. He hesitantly reached his hand to her face, fiddling with her blonde hair as her eyes stayed on him.

The two both gasped when Nala suddenly ran over to them, barking and licking their faces while they sat up from their spot. "Nala...!" Emma laughed as Peter watched her with a small grin.
