*Two Days Later* 

Today I woke up excitedly as it was the day that Dareth might tell me that Zane is going to get out of jail. Today I wanted to wear something special. It was getting really hot as there was a drastic weather change so I decided to wear a purple top that tied from the middle. I decided to wear purple baggy pants to go along with it and a tiny white purse to make the outfit complete. 

Now I just had to wait for Dareth's call. I decided to do little things while I waited for Zane. The first thing was cooking something for my neighbors. They usually enjoyed the food that I made, so I decided to make some garlic bread pizza. 

Since they had four people in their family, Cindy (mom), Carl (dad), Chris (son), Cara (daughter) I got ingredients to make enough for all of them. 

My ingredients were pizza sauce which was homemade, it was made out of whole peeled tomatoes, 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tsp. kosher salt, 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes, and 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar. 

In order to make the whole thing I got 10-oz of loaf garlic bread, halved lengthwise.Also, ,1 c. shredded mozzarella, 14 
pepperoni slices, 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan, 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes.

For the pizza sauce I had to get a blender and in it I had to put purée tomatoes until it was mostly smooth. In a large skillet over medium heat, I heated oil. I added garlic and cooked, stirred until fragrant, about 30 seconds. I stirred in tomato paste and cooked. I stirred constantly, until darkened, 1 to 2 minutes. I added puréed tomatoes and 1 teaspoon salt. I boiled over medium-high heat, then reduced heat to medium-low and simmered until sauce thickened and reduced by about one-third, 20 to 25 minutes. I tasted and seasoned it with salt and granulated sugar for sweetness. I then let it cool to room temperature. I let it cool completely, then stored it in an airtight container and refrigerated.

For the garlic bread pizza I preheat the oven to 425°. On a large baking sheet, I arranged the bread to halve the garlic side up. I baked bread until it warmed through and crisp on the sides and bottom, 9 to 11 minutes. I spread each garlic bread half with 1/4 cup pizza sauce. I topped it with mozzarella, then pepperoni and Parmesan. I then heat the broiler. I broiled bread until the cheese was bubbling and browned, 3 to 5 minutes. I topped it with red pepper flakes and then sliced it and put it in a container. 

I walked over to my neighbor's house and happily went to give it to them. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door. When the door opened, Cara showed up, a short girl with short black hair, pale skin, rosycheeks, and big brown eyes. 

"Hello aunty," Cara said.

"Hi Cara, are your parents home?" I asked. 

She nodded and led me to her house. I walked in and saw Chris playing with Legos while Cindy and Carl were watching a reality show. 

"What is that smell, it smells so good," Carl said.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Cheriton, I think you are smelling the garlic bread pizza that I made you guys," I said. 

"You made us garlic bread pizza! You are too sweet!" Cindy said. 

"Thank you, here you guys go. I hope you enjoy it," I said, handing Cindy the container. 

"Thank you. I noticed that you are wearing a special outfit today, going somewhere special today?" Cindy asked, smirking.

"No, no it's nothing like that. Actually I am going to have a really special guest today, that is why," I said. 

"Interesting, well do you want to join us?" Cindy asked.  

"I just remembered I have to go do something so can't, but I hope you guys like it," I said. 

I walked out of there and decided to prepare a surprise for Zane. I decorated the whole house with white and purple decorations. I made a white and purple cake as I was going to surprise him by telling him how much I love him. I made a heart on the cake where half of it was purple and the other side was white. I wanted to get a gift for Zane, so I went to the jewelry store to get him a chain or something. Instead of getting a chain I got two bracelets. The bracelets were purple and white yin yang where the yin is in one bracelet and the ying is on the other. It was just perfect.

When I went home, everything was done and I kept waiting for Dareth until I decided to call him myself. 

"Hello, Dareth?" I said. 

"Hey Pix, what's up?" Dareth said. 

"Nothing really, it's just that I wanted to know if you succeeded or not," I said. 

"Well we have succ..um…we still haven't got the results yet, but when we do I will let you know," Dareth said. 

"Ok thanks," I said. 

I wonder why Dareth was stuttering as if he was going to say that he succeeded, but he was stopped by someone. I don't know, maybe he is speaking the truth, I should trust him. I will just wait I guess.
