Meeting Zane's Family

We went in my car because Zane came in a taxi, so we decided to go in my car. I couldn't wait to meet Zane’s little brother and his Father.

We drove for like half an hour until we reached a big, white house. It wasn't as big as ours, but it was bigger than others. When we entered the house I saw a staircase on my right and it was a 2 story house. 

"Well this is my house," Zane said. 

"It's nice," I said. 

"This way is where my father, Dr. Julien would be," Zane said, leading to the living room. 

Next to the living room was a white marble kitchen. Dr. Julien was sitting down on the couch reading the newspaper while Echo was playing with Legos on the ground. 

"Hello Father and Echo," Zane said. 

"Hello Zane, well oh my who is this?" Dr.Julien asked. 

"Oh, this is P.I.X.A.L, my girlfriend," Zane said. 

"Good Afternoon Dr.Julien, it is a pleasure to meet you," I said. 

"And it is a pleasure to meet you as well. You are P.I.X.A.L, like the one that is my friend, Cyrus's daughter?" Dr.Julien asked. 

"Yes, I am his daughter," I said. 

"This is my little brother, Echo," Zane said. 

Echo was too busy playing with his Legos that he didn't even look our way. 

"Um, Echo..Echo, ECHO!" Zane yelled and then gave me a nervous laughing expression. 

I giggled and looked at Echo who was staring at Zane angrily. He was so cute. Just a tiny version of Zane. 

"What? You disturbed my playing," Echo said. 

"Sorry Echo, but can you please meet P.I.X.A.L," Zane said. 

"Who is P.I.X.A.L?" Echo asked. 

"I am P.I.X.A.L, Zane's girlfriend," I said. 

"Wow, W Rizz," Echo said, dabbing Zane up. 

"Not you Gen-Zs and their slang," Zane said. 

Echo gave Zane a side eye and came over to me.

"The name is Echo. If you have any questions, please ask," Echo said. 

"Well how old are you?" I asked. 

"Eight. I know looking this handsome while I am this young is impossible. But, I have lots of talent," Echo said.

"That's amazing, I really wished I had talent like you," I lied just to make the kid happy. 

Zane gave me a look like,'you really didn't have to say that'. 

"Well I guess that's enough introductions, P.I.X.A.L and I are going to go to my room so have fun," Zane said. 

"Wait, P.I.X.A.L, dear will you have dinner here?" Dr.Julien asked. 

"Sure, but I'm not sure how Father is going to make dinner," I said. 

"Well, then invite him here," Echo said. 

"That is an amazing idea! P.I.X.A.L, please call your Father for dinner with us," Dr.Julien said. 

"I will, thank you so much," I said. 

"You're welcome, I will call you both for dinner then," Dr.Julien said. 

Zane nodded and we went upstairs to go to Zane’s room. I called Father to tell him the news and he was happy to hear about it. When we reached Zane’s room I noticed a white, neat bed in the middle of the room which was a queen size. There were two nightstands near the bed and the bed was in between it. There was a big white cupboard at one corner of the room and a closet at the other side of the nightstand. 

"I really like your room, it is very neat," I said. 

"Thank you, please," Zane said, putting a hand out indicating that he wanted me to sit on the bed. I sat on it and he sat next to me. He put an arm around me and I looked at him in the eyes and smiled at him. He smiled back at me and then I put my head on his shoulder. 

"Your Father is so nice as well as your little brother. He is so cute," I said. 

"Cuter than me?" Zane asked. 

"Well…yes," I said, teasing him. 

"Then, go hang out with Echo," Zane said, letting go of me and pouting the other way. 

I couldn't stop giggling. He was so funny! Zane laughed along and pulled me in a hug which led us to falling on the bed and laughing. I finally stopped laughing and took a deep breath. 

"You are so funny," I said. 

"And you are so cute," Zane said, bopping me on the nose. 

I smiled. We spent a good amount of time laying in each other's arms and talking. Until, Dr.Julien called us for dinner. When we went downstairs, I saw my Father at the dining table laughing with Dr.Julien. 

"Well if it isn't 'The Best Nindroid Couple in Ninjago'," Father said. 

We sat down at the dining table and I sat in between Echo and Zane because Echo was having a fuss that he wanted to sit next to me. He was already connected to me. 

"So, P.I.X.A.L, what should I call you?" Echo asked, munching up the chicken that Zane made in a flash with Dr.Julien. 

"You can call me Pix, only special people get to call me that and you are special," I said. 

"Oh wow, I like her, you should keep her, Zane," Echo said. 

I giggled and Zane started laughing too. 

"Of course I will keep her, I will never leave you," Zane said, putting his hand on top of mine and staring at me in the eyes. 

"Nor will I leave you," I said, smiling at Zane. 

"Would you guys quit it before I throw up," Echo said. 

We both started giggling. It made it hard for the three of us to finish dinner quickly because of Echo. While Dr.Julien and Father were watching TV and discussing politics. They just hated Mayor Ulysses Norville Trustable. 

After we were done eating dinner, we played Sorry!, a board game and then it was time for Father and I to go. We were at the door when Zane placed his lips on my cheek, I stared at him in awe and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. 

We pulled each other in one last hug. 

"Good night, Snowflake," Zane whispered in my ear. 

"Good night, Love," I whispered in his ear.

I hope you enjoyed this, I know I enjoyed writing it and I will see you in the next chapter! We are so close to the end and I might cry because I feel kind of emotionally attached to this book like I was there for Zane and P.I.X.A.L's whole journey through this book and now it has led to this.
