So Much Alike

*After a Few Days*

I was deciding to confess to Zane about my love for him. Maybe over some coffee will do. I was laying in my bed because I just woke up, so I reached over to the nightstand and grabbed my phone. 

I decided to call Dareth for Zane’s phone number because I didn't know it. I called Dareth and it took him a few seconds to pick it up. 

"Hello?" 

"Hello, Dareth. How are you?" I asked.

"Oh, I'm good just eating some pancakes, what's up?" Dareth asked. 

"Oh nothing much, just that I wanted to know Zane’s phone number," I said. 

"Oh, I see. Well I will text his phone number to you. Funny thing is that he called me for your phone number," Dareth said. 

"My phone number?! Why would he need that?" I asked.

"I don't know," Dareth said, but his 'I don't know didn't sound so convincing. 

"Well, thank you and I hope to see you soon, bye!" I said. 

"Bye, good luck," Dareth said. 

"Good luck for what?" I asked.

"Oh, um…trying to call Zane, I know how hard it is trying to call your crush," Dareth said. 

"Well then, thank you, bye," I said.

"Bye," Dareth said. 

I hung up and then took a deep breath. I just couldn't do it. I can't just randomly call him. But, I have to! I dialed his phone number and was about to call him when an unknown caller called me. Now what does this person want?!

"Hello?" I asked. 

"Hi, is this P.I.X.A.L?" The unknown, but familiar voice said. 

"Yes, but I couldn't really recognize you," I said. 

"Oh, I am Zane," Zane said. 

"Zane?! It's y-you?" I said, getting up from my bed.

"Yes, it is. What's wrong?" Zane asked. 

"N-nothing. Well really the thing is that I was just about to call you," I said. 

"Really?" Zane laughed.

"Yes." 

"For what?" Zane asked. 

"Um, well I wanted to ask you something important," I said. 

"Wait really, so did I! It's so weird how we think the same," Zane said. 

"Maybe because soulmates connect, I mean um…what did you need to say?" I asked. 

"Ladies first, you can say your thing first," Zane said.

"I like that you respect that, but you should go first," I said. 

"No you," Zane said. 

"No you go," I said. 

We fought like that for a few minutes until we both said in sync,"Fine!" 

We both started laughing and then I decided to say my thing. 

"Do you want to go out for some coffee?" we both said in sync. 

How were we so similar?

"Yes, I would love to go with you," we both said in sync again. 

We both started giggling. 

"We are more alike than we thought," Zane said. 

"We really are," I said. 

"So where do you want to drink coffee?" Zane asked. 

"Um, I know this one place, but it is a surprise. I will just text you the location. Make sure you save my number," I said. 

"Why wouldn't I? What time do you want to go? Zane asked. 

"How about 2:00 p.m.?" I asked. 

"Ok, so meet you at whatever location you say at 2:00 p.m.," Zane said. 

"See you," I said. 

Zane’s P.O.V:

I saved P.I.X.A.L's number and named her as,'💜My Beautiful, Perfect, Cute Snowflake💜'. If Echo sees this name then I will be flooded with questions, but that doesn't matter to me because it is true! I can't wait to meet her!

P.I.X.A.L’S P.O.V: 

I texted him the address to Giant Zucchini's Desserts. I was going to surprise him with the couple smoothies. I saved his number and named him,'🤍Love🤍'. I just couldn't wait to meet him!
