She supposed by answering at all she had opened the door to more responses. Her heart ached, she didn't want to ignore him. She didn't think he was dangerous... she hoped not. He seemed sweet and hurt needing direction and comfort.

C: I don't know what to do. It's just never ending. I feel like I made my mistakes, but now there is nothing I can do to stop my constant daily humiliation. When I drink I get emotional and I start doing weird risky shit like the recordings I know because of my job I never should have done that it seems so stupid of course that would get thrown back in my face. Tell me it'll be okay again please. Do you hate me?

V: How long have you had a drinking problem?

C: i guess it got bad a year ago

V: Do you drink everyday?

C: yeah

V: Have you been drinking and driving?

C:  i'm sorry. It's mostly empty highway.

V: People fall asleep on the highway.

C: you're right.

This conversation felt so strange. Violet walked out to her porch looking out at the pine trees surrounding her home. She knew she could go to bed, she knew soon she would fall behind on deadlines. She was too busy worrying about this guy she barely knew.

C: have you ever been on a road trip?

V: No.

C: I just bought this thing it's kinda falling apart, but it's sorta cozy. I kinda like camping out in the cold a little bit. Makes me sleepy

V: Is Pennyloaf always so well behaved or is it only when the cameras on?

C: she gets restless as fuck in the early morning. Zoomies was easier to ignore when the cats not running over you.

Violet smiled at her phone. She wondered where he was right now she hoped he wasn't drinking tonight and had put it aside.

C: wait

C: you know my cat's name?

Shit.

C: i'm just surprised you would bother knowing or looking it up or remembering

V: I looked into you.

C: well yeah, I guess that makes sense and my whole life is public

V: Do you know who's leaking all this stuff about you?

C: not for 100%. and no it's not flexmouse just cause he made the tweet, he's fine he tried to be nice to me and gave me a lot of chances.

C: i'm just kind of a fuck up.

V: Aren't you rich?

C: well I maybe made some unwise contract decisions early into my streaming career. it's complicated.

C: i don't know how long any of this is going to last. but it just kind of feels like as much fun as I had I can't stand being seen anymore. it felt like it was all I wanted for so long.

V: maybe it isn't right for you anymore, maybe it'll become right for you again later.

V: But first.

V: You need to get a warmer jacket and to stop drinking while you drive.

There was a long pause before he responded again.

C: i promise I won't drive drunk again.

V: Thank you, Case.

She typed out his name carefully smiling to herself.
