In the middle of the night she couldn't sleep so she messaged Mouseflex asking to talk about Case tomorrow over voice chat when he got the chance. 

V: Hello, I'd like to talk to you about something Caselock related when you get the chance.

With that taken off her chest she could finally fall back asleep.

The shrill tone of her phone's alarm jarred her awake. Blinking against the morning light, she noticed a notification from Case. Opening it, she was greeted with a picturesque view of a countryside hill, bathed in the beautiful hues of dawn — pinks merging with soft blues.

To her surprise, Mouseflex had already responded. 

Mouseflex: Available to chat whenever you're ready.

Despite his global fame as a streamer, he had taken the time to answer just a few hours after she messaged him. 

Before she had even had her morning cup of coffee she was on call with the renowned Mouseflex.

"Hey! I'm surprised you reached out but I'm really glad!" When he spoke his voice was booming with that infectious confidence that gotten him such a large following.

Violet hesitated for a moment,

"I was wondering if you had any idea who might be leaking these things as well... nearly every time Case trends because of a new video I do too."

Mouseflex let out a thoughtful hum, "I hadn't even thought of that, that's crazy."

There was a familiar lilt to his voice that Violet couldn't quite place —

"So do you have any clues, any hunches?" she asked and then paused listening to the sound of Mouseflex grumbling to himself.

"What's wrong?" Violet asked

Mouseflex groaned 

"Look I don't really know, you know? I just got like a guess."

"What's your guess?" Violet pressed, her voice a gentle nudge, "You must have some inklings?"

There was a deliberate pause, as if he was tasting each word before speaking.

"So I would like to put forth the idea to you... what if he's leaking his own stuff to get your attention?"

Violet stopped short in her pacing of her bedroom floor.

"Cause then it's like a captive audience, I mean you said it right every single time a new video get's posted you trend together. So what if he gets to express his creepy shit and drag you into it, right?"

Violet considered it in silence, it was after all a guess.

"Look he's got problems, I mean I wish him the best he's a funny guy and all that."

"He has a drinking problem?" Violet was going to pretend to go off of only what was publicly known.

"Oh you picked up on that?"

"He drinks a lot on stream."

"Yeah, he's loves binge drinking. Started way too young."

Mouseflex gave a laugh, "You know, I think it's cool you're trying be all productive about this and didn't try to call him out in front of everybody. "

Then a strange silence washed over them and Mouseflex gave another nervous giggle,

"You seem really kind lady just like... don't take it too far, okay? Better to ignore this stuff, you come out looking better in the long run if you don't get involved."
