"Ugh! F*cking finally!"
They all turned around to the source of the voice behind them. Just when they thought they'll get reincarnated after dying, here they are standing in a room facing an old woman glaring at them. That familiar face from Kazumi's memories, her grandmother, queen of the underworld. Unlike what they are expecting of seeing the appearance of a youthful woman, they were met by an old one. But unlike of what they saw from Kazumi's memories, she looked older and frailer now. Not a single strand of her hair remained black, every single strand has turned silver in color.
"You're... Kazumi-sama's grandmother... right?" Kagaya asked breaking the silence between them and her.
She scoffed, "So you now call my granddaughter formally instead of traitor, monster, or demon? Hypocrites!" She stood up and angrily threw the table in front of her to them which made them step back as it land on the floor and break into two. "YOU DUMB UNGRATEFUL TWO-FACED IDIOTS! YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE TO TAKE HER SIDE! BUT WHAT THE F*CK DID YOU BASTARDS DO?!"
They couldn't even speak nor have the strength to try to explain their selves against her burning rage. She then angrily stomped her way to them dragging behind her her trail of silver long hair.
"So the bitches who once cursed my granddaughter and spoke ill of her can't speak now? What? Did all of you bit your tongues to bleed?" She spoke through gritted teeth glaring at them. "Or would you like me to state your names? Ubuyashiki Kagaya, Ubuyashiki Amane, Himejima Gyomei, Uzui Tengen, Shinazugawa Sanemi, Iguro Obanai, Tomioka Giyu, Kocho Kanae, Rengoku Kyojuro, Kanroji Mitsuri, Kocho Shinobu, Tokito Yuichiro, and Tokito Muichiro." She looked at each of those whose name she stated, they all have their heads down upon being called that they couldn't even make eye contact with her.
Her pair of golden fox-like eyes, which now has dimmed in color too, went to glare at the other slayers in the room. "You guys think I'll spare you? You're all at fault here too Shinazugawa Genya, Tsuyuri Kanao, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Kamado Tanjiro, and Hashibira Inosuke. You bitches killed her too." The same as the others, they all have their heads down while trembling in fear of her anger that just keep on going up.
She just wants to grab them all and slam them down the floor or against the wall again and again until they beg to be killed instead, but she couldn't. As she knows these people she wanted to torture right there and then were the people her granddaughter considered her friends and died for to save. And right now, even she lacks strength. Throwing that table before already tolled her much of her strength.
She took in a deep breath turning her back from them before speaking again, "I don't even wish the slightest bit to see you all yet here we are."
Then, the shoji doors behind them suddenly opened followed right after by another familiar voice. "My dear..."
"AND IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU STUPID!" She yelled facing him from her spot.
"W-What did I do?" He murmured.
"You, stupid husband of mine, is the reason why I have to face these bitches again!" She picked up half of the broken table and threw it at him in which he barely dodged by squatting down as it pass by above his head landing right out of the room and against the wall.
"Please... please calm down, dear wife. If you use more of your strength you'll—" Before he could even finish his words, his wife already fell on her knees catching her breath. He rushed to her in an instant, "My dear!"
"O-Oh no! What's happening?! W-Why is Kazumi-sama's grandma like that?!" Mitsuri panicked in her mind as they watch the man carry his wife back to her bed.
They remained at where they are, watching in worry at what just happened. The so called queen of the underworld, a supposedly strong demon, just collapsed right in front of them. After tapping his wife's forehead, her uneven breaths calmed as she fell into a deep slumber.
