Aurora's POV:

My eyes aren't even open when I can sense the warmth of the sunlight seeping through onto me, creating little goosebumps on my skin.

I groan, not wishing to open my eyes yet, as I feel so comfortable. The blanket I'm wrapped in has absorbed the warmth of the sun, creating a lovely heat throughout. The birds are chirping merrily outside, almost like they themselves are telling me to get up.

Reluctantly, I roll over and flick open my eyes, taking in my surroundings.

Hold on. My eyes are fully open now, as I jolt up in shock and confusion. This isn't my house. And this isn't my blanket.

I peel the blanket off of me in fright, my head banging in pain. I can't remember anything that occurred the night before, or where I went. Did I get kidnapped?

I can't stand up though as my head is killing me. Was I drunk last night? My memory has long faded away, but some of the events with Lia come back into my mind. I blush, thinking of what had happened.

"Good morning sleepy head."

I froze, hearing the voice I hated so much. Could it be?

"Lia?" I squint at her, making out the outline of her figure with my faded sight. She was already dressed, wearing a white buttoned top and some simple jeans that yet hugged her figure perfectly. Her hair fell to her waist, perfectly smooth and straight.

"What am I doing here?" I ask.

She smirks at me. "You passed out last night."

"That explains why I can't remember anything."

Lia pauses, lips slightly parted. "You can't remember anything?"

I shake my head, and she sighs in what seems like relief. Why?

"Well. You must be hungry." She simply says. "I made you pancakes."

My nose suddenly picks up an aroma trailing from the kitchen, and it smells delicious. I nod at her eagerly and we head down the hallway to her kitchen.

Freshly made pancakes pile up on the small dining table, with little plates next to them.

"Tuck in." Lia smiles, and gets some cutlery from the draw.

I gaze down at the plate of breakfast so neatly presented in front of me, feeling confused on why and how I had got here. And why Lia is being so kind to me.

I eagerly tuck in when I feel a rumble erupt from my stomach like an active volcano. Lia chuckles at the noise, an attractive smile on her face.

"I'm still confused on why I'm here." I state with my mouth full of food.

She looks at me in half disgust and half amusement at my poor manners. "I told you, you passed out at the party."

"Then why didn't Sabrina take me home?"

"She was too drunk herself." Lia turns back to her breakfast, facing away from me. "So I had no other choice. I couldn't just leave you there."

"Aww secretly care about me do you?" I lean forward, clearly hinting at something, to which she doesn't confide to.

Her brows furrow in annoyance, and her eyes dart away from mine, a scowl forming on her face. She clears her throat. "Of course not."

"Wow thanks." I roll my eyes.

The kitchen clock ticks on as time passes, being the only noise to slice through the silence. The clink of plates and forks colliding rings through the air as we continue to eat.
