Prologue

Ugh...

After slamming my alarm clock, I groan and slowly roll out of bed.

Rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes, I turn to look out the window.

It was another bright day in the town of Tagami.

My name is Mika Aiko, the tailor of this small town.

I own a humble little clothes shop in Mayumi Street. I'm pretty happy with my life here, I couldn't really ask for more.

I had a long, stressful past when I first came here, but now life is very easygoing and I can enjoy myself. I have lots of friends and I feel welcome in this small community.

The nun of Tagami Church had adopted me and I now live with her and her daughter. She didn't know much about her family history either, so she took my surname and we all became the Aiko family.

I try not to think of the journey I had to take in order to be in this position today, but all I can say is...
