Chapter 10

I flinch as all the doors shut with extreme force and the building starts to shake.

Before I knew it, the walls start to collapse.

I can't do anything, debris was falling all around me immediately. Until, a large chunk of the ceiling falls on my head.

...

...

Hm?

I'm still alive?

I was breathing, but my body felt incredibly numb.

I open my eyes with ease to see that I'm in the area we were all camping at.

Was it all a dream?

I turn around and see that Scarlet is lying across from me. However, something about her seemed off...

Her eyes were wide open and bloodshot...

A thin trail of blood dripped down her chin...

"Scarl-"

Before I'm able to get up and shake her, a hand grips my shoulder and pushes me back to the ground.

"Hush, darling."

It was unmistakably the familiar voice of Isabelle.

But why? What's going on?

"There's no need to worry anymore." She whispers softly.

"I killed them all so you can be freed from this hell."

My eyes widen and I let out a sharp gasp.

But she covers my mouth and plants a kiss on my forehead.

"Goodbye."

I loud stabbing noise occurs and her blood splatters all over my face.
