Yellow, this chapter is going to be a bit interesting. It's essentially going to be a chapter of various perspectives on the events so far and their interactions with Obanai. Don't worry, there is very little repeat content, this is pretty much entirely original! Enjoy!

Shoto POV:

Shoto didn't know what to think of Obanai.

Okay, that wasn't true, but it was certainly hard to set his perspective straight considering how much his impression of her had changed over these past few months.

At the beggining, Shoto could say with full confidence that Obanai had the most of his respect out of all his classmates aside from Momo. Unlike the rest of the class, Obanai was both strong and wasn't constantly trying to bother him.

He wasn't at UA for friendship after all.

From what he could tell from training, Obanai was definetly one of the more perceptive students out of Class 1-A, and Shoto didn't doubt that she was aware of his left side. Despite this, she had never bothered him about it, even at USJ.

At USJ she earned even more of Shoto's respect, Shoto was definetly an independent fighter, so when they were warped together at the mountain zone, he was pleased when Obanai stayed out of his way while still doing her part.

One thing that Shoto noticed was that Obanai had no hesitation when it came to crisis's, when Allmight and the Nomu were fighting, even the villains were just standing there dumbly watching. It was only Obanai who had decided to capitalize on the opportunity and attacked the villains.

Not once did she demand that Shoto use his left side.

It was the when the sports festival happened that Shoto's whole world, as well as his thoughts on Obanai, were turned on its head.

After the match against Izuku when Shoto used his left side, he started thinking about his classmates and how he had treated them. Refusing to talk to anyone, a constant stoic face, anger at being defied, trying to be number one.

Just like his father.

The thought made him sick, even more so when he considered the fact that he compared Izuku to Allmight, was he not doing what Endeavour had been doing for literal decades? Was he not doing exactly what led Endeavour to ruining his life?

And then there was Obanai.

In retrospect, it was obvious that even though Obanai wasn't nearly as commited to winning the sports festival as himself, Izuku and Katsuki, she had by far the most thought out plan. Considering that Obanai was always just behind the competition, Shoto had simply written her off as another stepping stone to prove a point to his bastard father.

When Shoto really thought about it, pretty much everyone had Obanai at the back of their minds. Everyone was thinking of Tenya, Momo, Katsuki and himself, no one had tried to think of countermeasures against Obanai.

When Shoto had watched each of her tournament matches, he was convinced her opponent would best her. Fumikage with Dark Shadow seemed to difficult to get past, Eijiro's hardening looked like it wouldn't be fazed in the least, Hitoshi had just won every round without breaking a sweat (ignore Hatsume) and Katsuki was Katsuki.

Speaking of the match with Katsuki. Watching that truly shook him to his core. Shoto knew that Obanai had something to hide under those bandages, but when he saw those scars everything clicked.

It was just like him.

She too had a massive scar, except that instead of it being the result of hot water, it was from what seemed to be violent and raw cutting. Shoto also had no doubt in his mind that Obanai had also suffered from intense training since childhood.
