248... 249.... 250!
This was a normal part of Obanai's morning routine, where she would do stretches and physical workouts to stay in shape. Since there was no school today, she decided to push herself harder to make up for the lost excericise.
"Haa... *huff*... that was more tiring than normal." Obanai breathed, sweating all over. 'Speaking of tiring, I really ought to prepare for the gaming tournament Kaminari is hosting for his birthday-'
*Knock Knock Knock*
Obanai stood up from the floor and went to the door. Opening the door, she was greeted by the sight of Kyoka and Eijiro, the latter with his signature shark grin.
In hindsight, Obanai thought, She probably should have made herself a tad more presentable before opening the door. Right now she was wearing a short sleeve shirt with shorts, of course with her bandages on, but that wasn't the issue.
The issue was that she was covered in sweat and was beet red from exhaustion and the summer heat. Obanai sighed, "What brings you two here?"
"We live here." Kyoka deadpanned, which was met by an unimpressed stare from Obanai, to which Kyoka smirked.
Eijiro pumped his fist, "We wanted to know if you wanted to join us in a game of-" Eijiro's grin faltered, "Are you okay?" he asked, observing Obanai's exhausted state.
"Of course, just a little sleepy, nothing a good nights rest cannot cure." she assured him.
Kyoka's eyes narrowed, "You sure? You're face is flushed, and you have a bad habit of denying when your sick."
Obanai's face flushed just a little more from embarassment, "I was just doing some strenuous activities." she answered honestly.
Kyoka and Eijiro's mouths went agape, ""Str-Strenous Acti-ti-tivites?!"" they stuttered out.
Obanai quirked an eyebrow, "Of course, girls need a workout every once and a while too you know. It's quite satisfying every time I finish. I may be sweaty from sore muscles, but it definetly feels rewarding."
"Rewarding- I-I, how would I know?! I've never participated in such things!" Kyoka shouted, face completely red.
"Wh-wh-wh, NO! I-I, I wouldn't do anything like that either!" Eijiro sputtered, also completely red in the face.
Astounded by their blantant lies, Obanai responded, "Ah, yes you both have. Of course Kyoka did start after me but you both do it all the same. I've seen you both do it before."
""YOU WHAT?!"" Kyoka and Eijiro yelled. Raising his voice, Eijiro tried and failed to form one coherent word. Arms failing about as he lost it over the fact that—good grieve he couldn't even think of it. What was Obanai saying, she had seen him, actually SEEN him?!
Kyoka could just die on the spot, the world could open up and swallow her hole, anything but having to live with this fact. How was she supposed to live with it, she didn't think she could ever look at Obanai in the face.
"You, and-- I-but, how-AAAH!?" Kyoka had to leave, Obanai was looking at her like it was the most normal thing in the world and Kyoka couldn't take it.
Giving Obanai one last look, both of their own faces rivaling Obanai's own in color, Kyoka and Eijiro turned ninety degrees, and got the hell out of there. Way faster than Obanai thought possible.
Obanai decided that she really needed to learn better people skills.
