𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐰𝐚𝐲, bumbling busy bodies all adorned with various costumes raced around the station, going God knows where to do who knows what, all of them living in ignorant bliss at what was happening.

"Is this even a good plan?" Danny voiced his concerns.

"You don't have to come if you don't want to," Tara shot back, still very suspicious of him.

"So we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one? No, thank you," Ethan responded, our hands tightly intertwined as we walked down the steps in sync.

"We're gonna be fine, it's all gonna be fine." I attempted to reassure everyone and myself, though I don't think it was working.

"Let's just get to the theatre, come on, in here," Sam directed.

A woman walked in between Ethan and me, causing us to separate as I got pushed forward by someone else, the gap between Ethan, Mindy and me getting larger and larger. I now found myself being pushed into Chad.

"Yes, because it'll be much less scary at a serial killer movie theatre," Chad's voice dripped with sarcasm as we both got shoved towards the train.

I heard Mindy's voice shout from behind me, "Wait hey, hey! Chad."

"Mindy, E, hurry up," I called out for them, the gaggle of people making it harder and harder to breathe on the train.

Chad stuck his upper body out of the closing train doors and stuck his hand out, begging Mindy to grab it before I saw Danny pull him back, the train doors closing leaving Mindy and Ethan behind.

I made eye contact with Ethan from the other side of the window as the train began moving, I gave him a reassuring nod and he responded with a tight lipped smile.

The train was unbearable, with sweaty sticky bodies all over me, stumbling and tripping with each jolt of the train. I felt someone pushed up behind me, I looked back to see a very tall guy who gave me an uncomfortable smile. Before I could move away Chad pulled me forward standing in between us.

I turned to face him, "Thanks, bro."

He responded with a small smile before Sam spoke up, "Wait where's Mindy?"

Chad let out a frustrated sigh, "She missed the train, I was gonna wait but Cute Boy here dragged me on."

"I was trying to keep us together," Danny attempted to defend himself.
