𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 as he gripped my waist tighter, "I love you," he whispered as he looked deep into my eyes.

"I love you too," a wide grin on my face.

He gave me a soft smile before I heard a crash from behind.

"Ethan, come on we gotta go," I grabbed his hand, urging him to follow me, "Ethan, come on we have to run." Why wasn't he running, why wasn't he listening to me?

Ethan's smile disappeared and was replaced with a much more sinister look as he ripped his hand from mine. From the shadows emerged Quinn and Bailey, both brandishing, gleaming knives, Ethan stepped back to join them, grabbing a knife from his father.

I felt myself begin to hyperventilate, "No, no not again, please."

"I'm sorry, Lina but I have to make sure you stay dead." Ethan repeated the words I said to him and stepped towards me, I tried to run but was frozen in place. Ethan came closer and closer, my heart beating faster and faster.

He pressed his lips to mine before plunging the knife into my chest, stopping my beating heart.

I woke up with a gasp, clutching my chest, still feeling the knife buried in there. I whipped my head around to my surroundings, remembering where I was. After the events at the theatre, we all moved out of our respective homes.

Tara and Sam moved into another apartment, a couple minutes from campus, including Danny. Mindy and I moved in together as well, into the same apartment block, just one floor below them, we all wanted to be close to each other, taking no risks. Chad also moved in with Mindy and I, after finding out about Ethan he couldn't bring himself to live in his dorm alone, too haunted by the memories.

I fell back against the couch, screwing my eyes tight in an attempt to forget about the terrifying nightmare I had. I felt someone sit behind me and I opened my eyes to turn my head to Mindy, who gave me a knowing look.

"I'm fine Mindy, don't worry about me, I'm good," I tried to reassure her but she didn't relent.

"A.P, come on speak to us," Mindy encouraged.

"I do speak to you guys, remember I made fun of Chad for burning bread at dinner," I let out a light chuckle.

"Umm technically it was your fault because you were meant to tell me when the timer went off," Chad walked towards the couch, plopping beside me.

"No, I mean really talk."

I let out a frustrated sigh at Mindy's inability to drop the subject, "I can't okay because I'm trying not to feel the way I do and if I talk it makes my feelings real, I don't want to feel these feelings because it makes me a shitty person and I know I'm a shitty person but I don't wanna be a shittier person, you know."

I looked to Chad who gave me a look of pity before grabbing my hand, squeezing it slightly, "You are not a shitty person, okay Alina, you can tell us."

I took a deep breath before talking, "I miss him," I already felt the tears begin to well up in my eyes, "I miss him so much and I know I shouldn't because of what he did to us, to Anika, to me but I just can't help but miss my Ethan." The tears began streaming down my face.

"It's okay Alina," Mindy began, "It's okay, you loved him and it's not your fault he manipulated you and lied."

With those words, I nodded my head and put my head on Mindy's shoulder as Chad pulled us into a tight hug.

"I love you guys," Chad declared as he let us go.

"We love you too, you big dork," I replied, earning a light punch in the arm from him.

I grabbed the remote from the table, "Soo... anyone up for a horror movie?" I waved the remote in the air attempting to make light of the situation, my eyes now puffy after the tears.

Mindy and Chad looked at me in disbelief before we all burst out laughing, the side of my stomach began hurting before and Chad grabbed the remote from my hand, "How about we uh stick to rom-coms?" he suggested.

"I'm kinda hungry," Mindy declared as she got more comfortable on the couch beside me.

Chad jumped up from his seat, "Oh I know I'll ma-"

I pulled him back down to the couch and grabbed my phone, "Yeah no, I'm ordering takeout." This caused us to burst out into another hysterical fit of giggles.

It's going to take a while but I think we're all going to be okay.
