Chapter 17. The Studious Gamer's Sweet Ending

Jeju Island....

Jisoo ran as fast as she could she entered the venue where Nam Joon's conference was.

Nam Joon was now busy bidding farewells to the other CEOs until...

He saw from afar....

Jisoo.

She was gasping for breath.

She then ran towards him and hugged him tightly.

Her legs were wrapped around his waist.

"I didn't mean to say those words Nam Joon...I'm sorry. All this time, I thought you and Sana were married and that she is pregnant with you...Sana told me everything." Jisoo explained.

Nam Joon chuckled silently as he let her down.

"Pabo. So all this time that was the reason why you avoided me?"

Jisoo nodded.

Nam Joon started to laugh.

"Yah!"

He then took something from his pocket.

It was a box, then he opened..
It was the female counterpart ring that he was wearing.

"I was about to tell you this if ever we got the chance to meet again after being separated....I am interested in you and I want you to be binded with me through this ring."

Nam Joon took her hand and let her wear it.

"Is this a couple ring?"

"Yes...For now."

Jisoo smiled as she looked at her hand with the ring.

"I am so glad I found you again." She then wrapped her arms around his neck.

They looked at each other with much sincerity.

"Let's date shall we?" Nam Joon asked.

Jisoo nodded as their faces were close.

Fastforward >>> Beach......

Jisoo and Nam Joon rented a mini house facing the beach.

Nam Joon rented it privately.

There Nam Joon sat on the log as he watched Jisoo walking on the sand.

She was taking pictures and she faced and smiled at him so brightly.

He just stared at her mesmerized.

Suddenly, the moments flashed back on his mind.

When he first hated her, when he became her tutor...their sweet moments together after that..

Everything felt surreal for him.

That Jisoo was right there....that he was finally able to make her his.

That they have reached so far in their relationship.

He stood up then run towards her.

"Shall we take a walk?" He then held out his hand.

She took his hand as they kept walking and took pictures of the beach scenery.

On the other side....

Jennie and Jiyeon received photos on their phone while they were eating.

Then they both yelled in happiness.

Their parents were surprised to see the current scenario.

But they were more surprised to see pictures of Jisoo and Nam Joon

Meanwhile, Nam Joon's father....

He saw the same exact photos and almost dropped his phone.

Then he started calling Jisoo's father while smiling.

Night time...

Nam Joon and Jisoo were toasting mallows on the beach.

Then they watched the night skies full of stars.

They smiled at each other while starting to eat the mallows.

"What shall we do after this?" Nam Joon asked

"Maybe games?"

As the night grows deeper, they both go to deeper conversations.

"Yah....do you really think I am a dumb person?"

"No. You are not booksmart, but you are streetsmart."

"Jinja?"

"Yes. Why? Do you want me to call you pabo again?"

"Ani...just clearing things out."

"Tsk...Aigoo. If only you could see the beauty others see in you..like me."

Jisoo smiled feeling touched at his words.

"By the way....the reason why I named myself as a koalagamer is because you were my crush and I heard you loved koalas."

"What? Really?" Nam Joon chuckled.

Nam Joon was surprised by her next move..

She then pecked his lips and Nam Joon blushed

Then Nam Joon gave her a long kiss in return....

"If you were crazy about me, I am crazy about you too...and I will never lose you again. Ever." Nam Joon spoke after the kiss.

He caressed her face

He kissed her forehead.

"I like you Jisoo."

"I like you too Nam Joon."

They ended the night with Jisoo leaning on his shoulder, with a campfire in front of them while watching the twinkling stars
