Peter was overcome by sadness and disappointed; Hook was acting just like Wendy. They all wanted to leave him and grow up. Except with Wendy, it hadn't bothered him that much. Sure, he missed her, but not as much as he knew he would miss Hook. How could the pirate suddenly want to leave after what had happened tonight? It had been the most... magical night of Peter's life, and Hook still wanted to leave! What was it about Earth that was so appealing? What did it have that Neverland didn't?
The only thing Peter could really think of was the fact that people grew old, but Hook had given off the impression that he didn't even want that so much, so what did he want there?
Wendy had been determined to grow old, but Hook... He had said there was nothing magical about it, so why did he want to leave?

Filled with annoyance, Peter landed loudly in his empty tree hideout. "Tink!" he yelled into the darkness. It wasn't long before Tink's light lit up from her little nest that was built into the roots, and she grumbled an annoyed replied.

"Why do people want to grow up, Tink?" Peter asked exasperated. He was well aware that faeries weren't the right address to go to with real problems but... Since when did Peter even have real problems?! Oh right, since Hook. Damn him.

The pixie just grumbled an unflattering reply towards humanity before turning around and going back to sleep. Faeries were not the right people to talk to about these kinds of things. But who was?
His first idea was Tigerlily, but she was odd and knew nothing of Earth. Perhaps he should go there instead... Maybe, if he spent some time on Earth, he would find out.

It had taken James quite a while to find his sleep after that unsettling night with Pan, but his rest didn't last long because all too soon he was awoken by a freezing draft that blew in through the window.
With a groan and a shiver, he got up to see the frozen, sparkling ocean stretching out as far as the horizon. Pan had left Neverland.

The incident last night must have upset him even more than James had thought. What had happened?
Though he had spent at least two or three hours mulling things over, he hadn't come to any conclusions. Alright, so he wanted to go back to Earth, but this was no news to Pan... The boy was well aware that he was holding James prisoner, wasn't he? Not even Pan could be that stupid...

The warmth James had felt last night had been replaced by the biting cold of winter, and his desire to leave burned as strong as it had before this whole thing had started. It was that same desire that ignited his hatred for that deplorable pestilence for whom love was just a game that would end as soon as he got bored of playing.

Miserably and shivering, James slammed the window shut and crawled back into bed, pulling the covers over his head. There was no point being up in this weather anyway, so he might as well just stay in bed until Pan graciously decided to bring back spring. Why had he left anyway? What was he looking for on Earth?

No matter how hard James tried to fall back asleep so he wouldn't have to think about that wretched mongrel anymore, it resulted impossible because - unfortunately - he appeared to have developed far stronger feelings than he had thought, and all he could do was wonder why Pan had left him. What had he done wrong? Pan was the villain, not James! If anyone had the right to be upset about all this, it was James!

Taking a deep breath to calm his anger at the boy, James tried to think rationally of what had happened.
Actually, not much. Well, given it had been Pan's first orgasm, maybe a bit much, but other than that, it hadn't been that big a deal.
Alright, so maybe it had been a bit of a big deal for both of them, given the circumstances and whatnot... But the point was that, from an objective point of view, nothing much had happened.
But since when was sex objective?!
Except they hadn't had sex - not even close.
But Pan had never done anything close to it, so it was obviously a very huge deal to him. And James had never really done anything like that either... And given how awful he felt now, it was definitely a huge deal.
But Pan was overreacting because nothing bad had happened!
