"You never can do anything right can you? Honestly its a wonder Biura waisted perfectly good magic saving you all those years ago." Sable mocked.
"Now go back and put those chains back on her before I lock you both up." he warned.
"He's just a crow, can we do anything?" Lidya whispered.
"Maybe you can, but he has awful sharp claws and a worse beak." Felix told her.
"What are you two mumbling about?" Sable demanded.
Lidya looked at him, wanting to say something defiant- for she hadn't liked him since she met him, but she noticed behind the corner up ahead a hand waving at her. She then saw the face of Cerise pop out and signal her to be quiet.
Lidya's eyes widened as an Idea hit her.
"I said, we should have known that you would of figured us out." She said, in her most convincing voice as she held her hands up. Felix looked at her confused until he too saw Cersie behind the next corner, and mimicked Lidya's behavior.
Sable was surprised by the turn of their behavior but then gained a cocky smile.
"I should have guessed it was a dumb idea to do such a thing," felix said, in a pitiful voice, "You are the smart one."
"Of course I'm the smart one." Sable said confidently. Cerise summoned magic in her hands and started slowly approaching Sable.
"Before we go back up, could you tell us how you figured out Felix would do this?" Lidya asked.
"Well-" Sable said, seemingly pleased to get to talk about himself. "Ever since that ragamuffin was saved by Biura I knew him to be a coward. He never found any of Biuras plans as fun or ingenious as they were and was just a miserable thing. I knew he'd disobey if he had the chance, my being the smart one-" He was interrupted in the middle of his sentence by Cerise firing her magic at him. He froze in mid air and fell to the ground.
Lidya immediately ran and hugged Cerise,
"Glad you're safe kid." she said.
"You too- are the others here?"
"Yes but- are there anymore people in here, or was it just that bird?" Cerise asked in a hushed voice.
"It was just the bird, the only others in here aside from them is Felix over there and Biura- somewhere in here." Lidya told her.
"Great then- guys! Coast clear!" Cerise called over her shoulder. Acer, Axle, Eryd and Izarra came running out behind the corner and hugged Izarra.
"Absyrtus! We have to warn him, Biura's trying to overthrow him!" Lidya told them.
"It's true, those golems she has, she plans on taking them to storm Glassop." Felix confirmed.
"Alright then, let's tell him." Acer said as he took out a mirror from his pocket.
"Absyrtus?"
The mirror faded to Absyrtus's face.
"We've got Lidya-"
"Is she alright?"
"Yes, but she says Biura's planning to take over Glassop."
"I'm not surprised. I'll warn the other half of the army." Absyrtus nodded and the mirror faded to normal.
"Okay, now let's get out of here." Eryd said.
"Wait, what about him?" Lidya asked, pointing to Felix. The others looked at the small imp, who had a very frightened expression.
