<10> • Cheater

Seungmin's POV:

"So you were cheating on me too?" A voice said.

I didn't even have to look back to see who the voice belonged to.

I gritted my teeth.

"No. No I didn't," I mumbled paranoid.

"Traitor,"

"Shut up."

I let go of Charlotte, whose eyes were suddenly filled with hatred after the arrival of my ex.

That sounds so much better. My ex. My ex. No longer my girlfriend. My ex.

I turn to look at her.

Charlotte digged her nails in her palm. Did she know Reji? Or is she annoyed at the interruption?

"Why are you here?" I ask impatiently.

"I just came to say- is that Charlotte?" She started. I glared at Reji. "Sorry.. I just came to say.. if you broke up with me because of Yeonjun-"

"Stop. I wonder why he would do that. Isn't Yeonjun dead? Yeah? Doesn't matter, he lost his feelings for you, and I can see why,  so he broke up with you. It's not hard to get in that worthless mind of yours," Charlotte stated.

Reji looked down to the ground. "Okay. "

I widened my eyes and looked at Charlotte who was smirking proudly.

Reji looked at me with tear filled eyes.
"I dont care if you think this or not but.." she started. "I did not kill Yeonjun,"

Charlotte turned her back to Reji, "Leave," she said while walking back to her desk.

Reji looked at me with eyes filled with betrayal before leaving.

Charlotte rested her head in her arms.

I walked behind her braiding her hair.

"You work wonders," I stated, "Charlotte?"

She lift her head, "Yeah, yeah I do,"

"You good?"

"No."

Typical Charlotte. She doesn't lie. Which is one thing I adore about her.

"Whats wrong?" I asked sitting down next to her.

"Nothing," She replied. Nevermind, I take back what I said.

She takes out her phone and starts texting some one. I lean back on my chair and turn on my laptop.

I keep glancing back at Charlotte from time to time, she seemed unusually quite and didn't move at all. Her gaze was stuck on her phone.

After some time, she tossed her phone across the table in.. anger?

Her phone lit up with a message from Zai saying,

'Dont act like you dont know gurl'

And another,

'You gotta face the real world some fay yk? 🙃'

'day*'

I looked at Charlotte who was reading exactly what I was. She sighed looking back at me. Before I could ask anything her phone lit up with yet another message from Zai.

'Dont worry tho, youve got me bestie 💅'

Charlotte sighed turning her phone around.

Questions and worry filled my mind as I kept staring at Charlotte's phone case as if I was waiting for magical answers to appear.

"So?" I start.

She looks at me with tear filled eyes. Was she about to cry?

Well shit.

Last time I saw her cry was ages ago. I mean ages when I say ages.

"W-what happened?" I ask concerned.

"I just.. miss my brother a bit too much," She mumbled.

"Your brother? Why? I can drive you to his house today if you wish," I started, "I mean no one can stop me now cuz I'm not with Reji anymore so.."

Charlotte looked at me as tears fell from her eyes.

That was the first time I probably have ever seen her cry.. maybe more like 2nd.

"You don't want me to go to him Seungmin, you shouldn't go to his home either," Charlotte said between tears.

I frowned and hugged her. Oh how much it hurt seeing her cry especially for her brother.

"Why Charlotte? I'm willing to go anywhere to make you stop crying."

She cried harder, "My brother is..

"Choi Yeonjun,"

A/N: So.. what did I say last time when i said "look at me updating so frequently"?

Oops.

Listen hear me out. I was moving houses and I had school ㅠㅠ

So here are 2 long chapters for the wait.

And ofc not everything is correct abt this long ass chapter cuz im writing in the car again. How surprised are we on a scale of 1-10? 10 Right? Mhmm. Definitely.

Its the holidays again so I should be updating a bit more frequently.
