You slowly stood up, eyes darting between Eren and his father as they tried talking over each other. Eren's knuckles were white, fists balled at his sides as his entire body was rigid.

"Grisha, we need to leave." Zeke tried reasoning, knowing that this was going to escalate at any moment.

"Eren, I just want to explain to you-" Grisha began again when Eren shook his head.

"No, you're not going to explain anything. You're going to walk out those doors and I will never fucking see you again." Eren hissed as he roughly shoved his father back, pointing to the exit of the locker room. You reached your hand out, placing it on Eren's arm to try to ease his temper.

"Eren, stop. Don't do anything you'll regret." You pleaded with him. Security here was extremely tight and the last thing you wanted was for him to start a scene and press capturing any of it.

Eren spun around, harshly ripping his arm away from you as he spoke down to you. The pain in his eyes was so obvious, and his expression was one you hadn't seen in a long time.

"Anything I'll regret? You have no right.. no business in this. You have no idea what he's done. What I've gone through because of him." He said, his voice becoming hoarse as he stepped away from you. "None of you fucking understand what this piece of shit is capable of." His voice rose as he backed away from all three of you. He looked like an animal trapped in a corner and you knew he was having an anxiety attack, all you wanted was to help him.

The weight in your chest sank, Eren's words breaking your heart. "But I do.." You tried to respond, your voice barely above a whisper as Eren shook his head. "I'm here for you, Eren. I always have been."

"No, you don't." He barked back at you again.

"Eren, you're making everyone upset. Just relax and talk. I raised you better than to speak to a woman like that." Grisha began to discipline Eren and you saw the moment he snapped. His face went from laced in pain and frustration to completely numb, his eyes far away as he strode up to his father and his fist met his throat.

"You think you raised me?" Eren said through gritted teeth as Grisha began to choke, his hands clutching his aching throat that was just sucker punched. "You ruined my fucking life. I'm this way because of you, and what you stole from me." He hissed as he brought his face just inches from Grisha's.

"I will make sure you suffer ten times more than my mother did. You will never know a day of peace or rest because I will not stop until you are cold and dead." Eren said lowly, his voice unwavering as he spoke before shoving his father away.

He began to leave the room, Grisha falling to his knees as he coughed and your eyes met with Zeke's, who was frozen in place. He had never seen his brother this cold and distant, and he was worried.

"Eren, wait!" You called out, hurrying as you began to follow him when Zeke gently grabbed your arm.

"Don't. He needs space right now." Zeke said calmly and you tried shoving him off.

"Let go of me. You don't know what he needs." You argued as you ripped your arm away from him.

"You're going to get hurt, y/n. He's not thinking clearly." Zeke called out after you as you ran down the hallway as fast as you could in your heels, finally catching up to Eren as you grabbed his hand.

"Eren, stop!" You yelled at him, becoming frustrated with him being so stubborn when he pulled his hand away.

"Leave me alone." He said, his tone still void of any emotion as he continued walking away from you so you stood in front of him. He glared down at you, his chest rising and falling quickly as his anger was still brewing.
