Kissing in the Rain

Y/N's POV:

I laid in Vada's arms on a Saturday night, she was on her phone scrolling on TikTok, while I occasionally watched as I closed my eyes listening.

I tuned out her phone as I heard rain falling outside, which made me a little excited. I kissed Vada's cheek before standing up and rushing to her bedroom. Leaving her confused.

I came back out with my onesie on and my shoes. I rushed back down the hall into the living room with a bright smile.

"What's got you smiling like that baby?" Vada asked, a smile already tugging at her lips.

"The rain." I didn't let her answer as I dragged her out the house, throwing her phone on the couch. I tugged on her hand bringing us into the rain. She let a surprised gasp as she watched me with a smile.

I danced in the rain, my head tilting up to close my eyes and feel it fall. I spun around in my dirty converse. She laughed and finally joined me, taking my hand as she twirled me around pulling me closer to her.

We stared deeply into each others eyes, our smiles bright, her hands wrapped around my waist pulling me even closer where our lips finally meet. The rain continues to fall on our heads as we kiss passionately, there was so much love and affection I couldn't help but smile into it.

We pulled away slowly, panting softly before laughing a little, resting our foreheads together. I pulled away to kick some water on her feet making her gasp as she looked at me wide eyed with a smile. I smirked and spun in the rain again as I feel her attach herself to me, lifting me up in the air spinning me around and around.

"I love you so much Y/N/N..." She whispered when she put me down, hugging me tightly.

"I love you even more Vada..." Our lips meeting in another earth shattering kiss. This was a beautiful perfect moment I wouldn't trade for anything.
