"Why are we heading to Aspear Town?" Leafy asked as they headed down the path.
"We want to make an alliance with King Arrow and Queen Sky so we strengthen our forces," Shimmer exclaimed. Leafy nodded and their continued on our way. They finally got to their destination and liked for the den where the King and Queen lived in.
Shimmer tapped on the wall and an Dewott butler answered.
"Are you here to see the King and Queen?" he asked. Cora nodded and he said, "Follow me."
Cora, Leafy, Shimmer, and Blade followed the butler until they arrived at the audience chamber. A pair of angry Patrat stormed out of the room grumbling to each other. Leafy watched them leave while Cora walked up to the King and Queen and bowed. Shimmer, Blade, and Leafy followed in the same manner.
"Please rise," the King said. "Please state your business."
"We would like to pledge an alliance with both of you so we can combine forces to stop Claw and Fang, " Cora explained. "I'm Cora, this is Leafy, and those two are Blade and Shimmer."
"I am King Arrow and this is my lovely Queen Sky. Why should we form an alliance with you?" the King asked.
"Queen Autumn, Princess Mist, and Queen Bailey are in our alliance. We want a strong enough force so we can take the Soul Gem back and return to Princess Mist from Claw and Fang." Blade said.
"Darling, if Bailey is with them then we know we can trust them. Bailey only trusts kind people with potential. They've got to have been special," the Queen said. The King nodded, knowing that his Queen had made a good point.
"Fine. We will make an alliance with you four. What do we have to do?" King Arrow asked.
"Thank you, Your Highnesses. Right now, please wait and keep you citizens safe. Claw and Fang are going around and using the Soul Gem to suck the souls of the Pokemon they have grudges against. They had attacked Oran Grotto and Sitrus Mountain," Shimmer said, looking at the ground. The King nodded and the Queen looked horrified.
"Is everyone ok?" Queen Sky asked, full of worry.
"Everyone in Oran Grotto was either sucked into the gem or killed. The Pokemon in Sitrus Mountain went into hiding with Blare the Delphox or in the ocean storages with Queen Bailey." Cora said. "I suggest you make your citizens go into hiding before Claw and Fang strike."
"Ok. We have big rooms here so the Pokemon can hide in the rooms. I will start moving them in. What are you going to do?" King Arrow asked.
"We are going to Cheri Cove so we can form an alliance with Princess Poochy. Then, we can all meet up and strategize the final plan to bring Claw and Fang down." Shimmer exclaimed.
"Then hurry on your way so you can talk to Princess Poochy and warn her about her citizens," Queen Sky said. "Take one of our guards as a sign of our alliance. Now that I look at the Leafeon in your group, he looks awfully like the one in Queen Bailey's guard troop."
"That's because I am. I am Leafy. I am suppose to escort Miss Cora and the Eevees to their destinations." Leafy explained.
"Oh! Well...hold on. Ahem. STORM, GET HERE RIGHT NOW!" Queen Sky demanded. A Mightyena came running into the room, panting. "Storm, you will go with Cora as her escort to Cheri Cove. You will behave yourself when traveling with Cora, Guard Leafy, Blade, and Shimmer. You are representing Aspear Town and I will not have you giving me or King Arrow a bad name. Got it?"
"Yes, Your Majesty," Storm said.
"Good, you all may leave," Queen Sky dismissed as a maid came to escort them all out. When they all got out of the den, Cora announced, "Okay guys! We are now going to head towards Cheri Cove to make an alliance with Princess Poochy!"
"Wait! Wait!" a Pokemon yelled, running toward them. It was a Pyroar and he started panting. "Wait...wait...I...want to...come...with...you."
"What is your name?" Blade asked, suspicious of the Pyroar.
"I am...Flame," he said, catching his breath.
"Ok. I guess you can come with us Flame," Cora said. "We are going to Cheri Cove. Not to be nosy or anything, but why do you want to come with us?"
"I want to get out of the town so I can explore. Aren't you guys exploring?" Flame asked.
"Um...no. We are on a mission, not exploring." Shimmer said, already not liking him.
"Oh! Then, I'll just help you guys on your mission then," Flame beamed.
"Ok! We need the help!" Cora said.
"Hold on. I need to get something. Just wait for a tiny bit," Flame said. He ran off toward a den and went behind it.
"Did they let you?" a voice from the shadows asked.
"Yup! Our plan is going perfectly. Off to Cheri Cove we go!" Flame said gleefully.
"Flame! Are you ready to go?" Cora called out.
"Coming!" Flame replied. "Gotta go, boss. Talk to ya later."
Flame ran back towards Cora and her group and they headed north toward Cheri Cove.
