Goblin

Peter stood in the middle of the garage while he was back in his classic suit. Taking a few moments to shoot off various webbing in the garage, he managed to shoot them off just like the old days.

Doing a few stretches to make sure he doesn't tear through the suit (he might've skipped the gym for a few years), he saw that the suit still fits. Well, it fits well enough for one more mission. He closes his eyes, he waited for the ball machine to go off, which sent a ball flying at his face. His senses reacted fast enough so that he managed to catch the ball with ease.

"Just like riding a bike," Peter whispered in happiness.

At the OsCorp facility, the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. were waiting for him to show, wondering when the Green Goblin would come in. His glider wasn't going to last long, and they knew he would come for it sooner or later. But it was like he was either avoiding the facility or waiting to strike.

None of them knew that the Green Goblin wasn't even going anywhere near the location. It seems that he knew about the first Goblin's mistake on the power source and already found a suitable replacement for it.

But it wasn't at OsCorp. It was at STARK Industries.

This is exactly where the Spectacular Spider-Man was making his grand return.

Everyone all over New York was going about their everyday lives like they normally would. They had no reason to expect today would be any different from any recent days. Nothing new was going to happen according to them.

But that's where they were all wrong.

There was a subtle sound that filled the air, getting several people to stop what they were doing and look around.

That sound they heard?

THWIP!

It couldn't be.

To all of New York, he had been gone for fifteen years. He left for Metropolis. He couldn't be back.

THWIP!

That's when a shadow was suddenly cast over some people, causing them to look back up to the skies.

And that's when they saw him.

Spider-Man swung throughout the city, making his way over towards STARK Industries where he knew the Goblin would be. But to the whole city, all they saw was their neighborhood hero back in the mask, back in their city, back to save the day.

"He's back?" A pedestrian asked in shock as he looked up.

At the Daily Bugle, Joseph Robertson, the current leader, and owner of the Daily Bugle was sipping his coffee. He was just looking out the windows when he saw Spider-Man swinging past their building.

Robertson looked shocked before he smiled. "Welcome back, kid."

But when he was swinging past the business district, a certain critic of his was watching as he came swinging past. "He's back?! Jared, get the podcast up! He's back! Spider-Man is back!"

In the RAFT prison just outside of New York, a monstrous vampire-looking man turned to the window, smelling a familiar scent in the air. "Spider-Man."

Peter kept swinging until he landed on the side of a building that was right across from the STARK facility where they make his Arc Reactors. Sadly, it seems that Tony changed his number, and Peter was never given it so he couldn't warn Tony that he was coming.

He was on his own.

Peter stopped so he could take a moment to try and keep calm. He doesn't know what he's going to do if this was actually the Goblin back from the dead. It would raise too many questions that would force him to relive what happened that day. That was something he swore he would never relive.
