"What!? They..they can't do that can they?"
"Well, after my Abuelita's death, Shannon's family has trying to take him back. Saying I don't have enough support and that I'm.. I'm falling apart."
Buck stood up, walking around the table to kneel in front of Eddie.
"Hey." Buck said, barely louder than a whisper.
"Look at me." He said. Eddie blinked.
"Look at me." He said, more firmly.
Eddie's swollen eyes scanned the floor and around until they finally met with Buck's.
"We are going to get through this, and we are not going to give up. Christopher is not going anywhere. You hear me?"
Silence was deafening until Eddie finally spoke again.
