Buck and Eddie- the get together

Dinner

"I'm home" Eddie called out as he walked through the door.
"In the kitchen!" Buck called back.
Eddie placed his jacket on the chair and walked over towards the kitchen where he found Buck, apron on, cooking up a storm.
"Whatcha making?" Eddie asked.
"We've got a roast and vegetables in the oven and in the mean time we have falafel and bruschetta and then a chocolate cake for dessert."
Eddie was quiet for a minute, expression shocked.
"Wow that's... quite a feast. Are we having people over or something?"
"No I just had nothing better to do and since Chris is out I thought we'd have a.. date night."

*10 minutes later*
They were sat down at the table, dining on their many different choices.
"So I was looking at apartments and I didn't realise how well I had it. I mean I thought my place was expensive but some I've looked at are double the price and half the space."
Eddie responded calmly and quickly "well like I said, you can stay here as long as you want."

They finished eating and cleaned up before deciding to have an early night.

Buck began to walk over towards the couch, grabbing a blanket on the way.
"What are you doing?" Eddie asked.
"Just setting up the couch." Buck replied.

Eddie paused for a moment, stunned as if his answer wasn't obvious.
"You're not gonna sleep in the bed with me?"
Buck was silent, trying to compose an answer.

"I just thought you know, I'm gonna be staying here for a while, isn't it better if we-"
Eddie cut him off quickly
"Nope. You're sleeping with me."

Buck chuckled before coming up with a sly remark of his own.
"Are you gonna make me hide as well when Chris comes home in the morning?"
"No promises," Eddie replied.
