Arrived at the South Carolina airport.
P.S- Dawn and Damian are in North Carolina.
_________________________Jenny's POV:
"I love you ground!" Ace yelled as we stepped off the plane and into that weird walking tube that lead to the arrival gate. "Were not on the ground yet Ace we are technically floating over the ground." I said smirking at his now panicked expression.
I learned on our flight that Ace and most other vampires are scared of flying. The whole trip he clung to his seat and forced his eyes closed
He didn't even get up to go to the bathroom. It was hilarious! I felt bad for the guy that sat next to Ace though. Ace practically squeezed the guy into the airplanes wall.
"Dammmmmiiittt!" I heard him scream as he grabbed his bags and pushed past people running clumsily to the door at the end of the hall. When he was a few feet away from the door he tripped on his luggage and fell
"Shit!" He cursed. With an outstretched arm he looked to the flight attendant holding the door open. "Please. Help me!" He shouted in hysterics. I laughed at him and clutched my aching stomach.
"What is wrong with that boy?" The old lady from behind me asked. "Oh he's just scared of.....air." I replied and started walking quicker to avoid her skeptical gaze.
When I got to the door I saw him panting dramatically in one of the waiting chairs. A flight attendant stood next to him, trying to help him.
"I'm....okay," he said between pants. "Sir are you sure?" She sounded concerned and I laughed. "Oh ya he's fine," I answered while I walked towards them. "Okay. Tell me if you need anything," She smiled warmly before she left back to her station at the door.
"What is wrong with you?" I said chuckling. "Heyyy it's not funny." He said childishly. I just shook my head and started to walk away. "Where are you going?" He asked."I feel a pull from the other two, c'mon." He gave me a weird look but grabbed his luggage's and followed behind me obediently.
We walked outside the airport and I saw a ton of cars moving in all directions. Some dropped off loved ones and some picked them up. I hailed a cab and me and Ace lugged our bags into the trunk and hopped into the backseat.
"Just follow my instructions." I said from the back. "Sorry ma'm but you need to give me a particular location." The overweight male cab driver said from the front.
"Just follow my instructions."
I said using my melodic siren voice. His eyes glazed over and he nodded obediently."You must promise to never use your siren ability on me." Ace said seriously. "Okay I promise never to use my siren ability on you unless I want you to get me any sort of candy." He narrowed his eyes and I added "but I'll make sure to tell you to get one for yourself too if your a good boy." I gave him a pat on his head causing him to frown but I ignored him and focused my attention on the psychic pull in my gut.
"Are you sure the pull is from the other kids?" Ace asked. "Well ya what else could it be?" I replied annoyed from his doubt. "Is it that time of the month JJ?" Ace asked putting a comforting hand on my thigh. "No. And you don't get a pull when your on your per...why are we having this discussion?" I asked looking at him.
"Just making sure." He said holding his hands up in surrender. I chuckled and looked at the road.
"Um...turn left here." I said to the cab driver.
***"Take a right here," I said tiredly. We had been driving for at least four hours. Finally we turned a corner and the cab was stopped by border control. A huge sign read in big letters
'Now entering North Carolina'
The pull went past the border."Oh maybe the pull was from North Carolina not South Carolina." I said. Ace sat up in his chair so he was in my line of vision. His eyes narrowed in annoyance. "No shit Sherlock."
