it had been a month since vivienne had been in germany, and might've gotten in a couple of fights. nothing dramatic and nothing that the school has noticed yet. but it was because of some bullying the twins were going through. as much as she would like to admit, she began to care for the boys whom she acted like she hated. though she was sure they knew she liked them, she only ever talked to them.
the first one wasn't because of the boys, but because of girls talking about how hot her father was. now vivienne wouldn't care about that, but it was the fact they were making advances on him. her father usually picked her up from the inside, paranoid about protection. in which the girls would swarm her father, touching his arm or flirting with him in a way that made him and her uncomfortable. so she fought them, in front of her father and surprisingly the group of boys she talked to. it probably wasn't a good introduction of her father to the boys either, seeing him rip vivienne away from the girls and make her stand in the corner before helping the girls so she wouldn't get in trouble. before yelling at her in front of the boys too, gratefully it was in russian so they didn't understand. but they could see the frustration and anger coming from the scary man.
the next three times were because of things she heard people talk about the group. they didn't know that though, and she would enjoy they didn't. all the fights were won by her, thanks to her dad teaching her to defend herself and training her on things he went through.
"hi vivienne" bill said sitting next to her in the music room, it became a routine for the boys to follow her in there. talking among themselves while vivienne rarely talked, adding very few words here and there. she knew they wanted to include her in things, probably saw her as some bad kid that needed a good influence. but she didn't mind, she liked the small bickering and what they all had to say. she felt like she almost had a friend group.
"hello" she said, before picking up the cherries he brought her after learning it was her favourite fruit. soon enough the others walked through the door, tom whistling while looking at her. it was something she was used to, his teenage boy hormones. he was a fuckboy, anyone knew that but instead of her falling head over heels it made her laugh at how he could pull anyone with such bad pick up lines.
"i like your outfit and hair" georg said, motioning towards her argentina fc jersey with jorts and sambas. she decided today to do something different and put pigtail braids with ribbons, something she saw online and fell in love with, but she felt stupid wearing them. she nodded, before giving him some cherries she saw he was eyeing. she smiled at her before taking a handful and sharing with gustav.
"what do you do after school vivienne? we never see you anywhere, and we're usually always outside" bill asked, after knowing her for a little more than a month they knew very little about her. except where she's from, her name, and what her dad looks like.
"home or to the boxing place in town" she mumbled, before picking up the book she's been reading for the past day.
"you box?" tom asked amazed, every new thing he learned about the girl made him more intrigued. he's never met anyone like her, she was different. not like tom boy different, but mysterious and scary like. but thats what drew him in, thats what drew all of them in. she wasn't like the others, and not in a mean way. but she didn't care for attention, or friends, but she was so comfortable in herself - she was all she needed. and with this she hummed in content, not knowing if she should further elaborate but she decided against it. knowing more questions would come out of it.

vivienne was done with her training that day, she boxed at a place her fathers co-worker's brother taught at. they were a military family, and her dad felt that was where she would learn the most. from those who actually had to fight, they knew how it felt and how to inflict that fear and fight or flight response from those who never have. she liked the outfit spectrum of boxing too, it was fun to be more of a masculine style. like that day, she wore semi baggy black shorts, a white wife beater, and her hair in a braided pony tail that touched past her shoulder blades.
as she walked out the gym, patting her head with the towel trying to cool down from the hotness she was experiencing. she bumped into someone, she put the towel around her neck and looked up to the see the people she never thought to see, the group.
"woah, look at those muscles!" tom said squeezing viviennes forearms. vivienne wasn't buff by any means, but she also wasn't lanky. if she moved her arms even a little from her relaxed state, her muscles were defined, but usually they were hidden by what she wore. maybe if you worked out and saw the amount of veins in her hands and forearms you would guess. but from the average eye, it wasn't noticeable.
"why are you here?" she asked, knowing the answer and how to found it
"well theres only one boxing gym in the center of town and we wanted to see you" bill said smiling at the girl who was obviously disheveled on how they found her.
"well try to ask me next time, i have to go. i'm sorry for making this trip not worth while" she said, bill almost noticing the regret in her voice. she walked towards the blacked out range rover before getting in. the boys could hear her voice in russian almost loud and clear while she opened the door. obviously whoever in the car, was slightly mad.
