Y/N pov:

'Dear Doctor Y/N,

I know that it has been some time since we last spoke. I also know that you may have heard of my involvement with Doctor Eggman. Trust me, I have good reason for what I did, and I need your help. Meet me at the location provided, and I will explain everything. In the envelope provided with this letter you will find 200 dollars. If you decide to help me, there will be much more to come. I wish you the best.

Sincerely, Doctor Starline.'

I look at the letter, and read it again, like I had missed something. I look in the envelope, and find the 200 dollars he was talking about, as well as the location he wants me to go to. It's in bills of twenties or less. Good lord... I left my scientist life behind Starline, why must you drag me back in?! I put the money and letter away, and get on my computer, and look up anything and everything I can about Starline and his recent activities. I get a load of information, until suddenly, starting two weeks ago, nobody knows where he is.

Except for me now I suppose. As I look up from my computer, I see it's almost time for school to be let out. I quickly gather my things, and head for the exit. I leave the building, and get into my car. I look at the letter again, and read it over one last time. After a bit of thinking, I decide to go home and sleep on it. I take a deep breath, and crank my car, pulling out of my parking space. As I drive down the corridor of parking spaces, a large truck blasting loud country music cuts through the parking lot, narrowly missing my car.

"What the hell?!" I see the driver is the same kid I helped pass the class just this morning. I sigh and shake my head. "Idiot." I pull out of the parking lot, heading back home. On the way there, I don't play any music. I just think, thinking on what I should do. I've got too much on my mind. I just need to lay off the thinking for a while, and recharge. At least for a little while.

I pull into my driveway, and turn off my car. I grab all of my things, and walk towards my porch, where I see a large package. Oh, it must be those meal sets that I ordered! I pick up the box, unlock my door, and head inside. I set my things on the counter, and I head to the bathroom to shower. The warm water helps me to relax after the stressful day of realization. After a bit, I get out of the shower, dry off and get into some comfortable clothes.

I go into my kitchen, and grab the box I got in the mail. I open it, and grab one of the quick meals, which is a casserole. These things are supposed to be healthier than most foods you buy in the store. I suppose we'll find out about that. I get out a casserole dish, prep it with cooking spray, and start putting in the ingredients in, following the directions word for word. I put it in the oven, and set a timer for thirty minutes.

In the meantime, I go to the living room to play some video games. I put in a zombie game that I haven't played in a while, and have some fun for a while. It's very gorey and violent, but i like that sort of stuff, so it gets my stamp of approval. After a little while of playing, I hear my oven starting to beep. I pause the game and put down the controller, heading to the kitchen. I turn off the oven, and put on an oven mitt, I take the food out, and put it onto the counter. I play on my phone while I let it cool. Even though all the games on my phone are old, and I've played them for over a decade, they're still so much fun. Something that modern games lack, replay value.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I get out a plate, knife, and fork, and put some of the food onto my plate, sit down at the table, and begin to eat. It's alright, but it's very bland. I can probably make it better with some of the spices in my pantry. I get up and walk to the pantry, galrabbing salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and a few other assorted seasonings. I take them back to the casserole dish, and mix the seasonings in with the food. I do the same for the food on my plate, and put the seasonings back in my cabinet.

As I sit back at the table, I take a bite of the food. Oh yea, that's so much better now. I eat what's on my plate, and go back for seconds, thinking the food is really good. I eat my second helping, them go back for thirds, only to see that there's barely a portion left. I sigh, and put the food into a plastic container, telling myself that I can have it for breakfast tomorrow.

I put it in the fridge, and pour myself a large glass of Tea. On my way through the living room I turn off my games and TV, then head upstairs to my bedroom. I take a sip, and set the glass on my nightstand. Grabbing a book from my shelf, I lay in bed and get under the covers.

The book is about the Scottish Civil War of 1745, when the Jacobites rose up to take Great Britain for the 'Bonnie Prince'. It's an interesting read, and it's definitely a good time killer. After a while though, I yawn and set the book down, turning off my lamp. I drink the last of my tea, and lay down, and eventually fall asleep.
