Thalleous gaped at the scene unfolding before him, watching the battle unfold as his mentor's blue markings faded to black. Screams of bloodlust and pain meant nothing to him, the war was just a distraction: all that mattered was what was happening right in front of his eyes. The Prince slowly pressed his ax deeper.

"You vermin," Pythus said as Sarrettus rasped. "You deserve this."

The captain turned his head incrementally as he sank to his knees, giving one last pained stare at his friend. As Pythus ripped the ax from Sarrettus' chest, the captain fell onto his face, his blue eyes finally closing.

"Were you with him?" Pythus asked as he kicked aside Sarrettus' bleeding body. He turned to the lieutenant. Thalleous clenched his sword.

"He was weak. You ought to have found someone stronger to learn from."

Thalleous ignored this, cold fury upon his snow-dotted face, raising his gleaming sword in the storm.

The Prince sneered.

"No sense from your kind," Pythus muttered. "No honor. Just savagery."

Thalleous waited no longer. He used his MobilliFlash to zip towards Pythus in a second. He slashed at every inch of the Prince he could reach. Pythus deflected and parried the blows, his tough armor absorbing the rest. Using his song once more, he teleported behind Pythus, but the Netheran reacted, dashing to the side. Raising his ax, Pythus swung down just as a thunderclap resounded through the sky. A bolt of lightning crashed into the ground, and a blinding-white warrior sped towards Pythus, broadsword at his side. The Prince kicked Thalleous in the knee as Herobrine went on the assault, narrowly missing Pythus' head. The three dueled, a blinding mass of crackling lightning and hellish light.

Acchilean scaled the mountain path, following an unwitting Ingressus. The Voltaris seemed to be trying to get a view of the battle. The Nestoris watched as Ingressus stared at a portal, hidden on a small alcove, not unlike that of the Nether. Yet, something about this portal seemed...off. The Nestoris continued to pursue his quarry until he was above the Voltaris master. He steeled himself, gripping his battlestaff. Then, he leapt down.

"Give up now, Ingressus," Acchilean yelled, meters behind his former friend. "Your people are dying."

Ingressus slowly turned to face Acchilean. "And yet, so are yours."

The Voltaris charged at the Nestoris, readying his master's stave to strike against his foe. He slashed against Acchilean, unsheathing his flaming broadsword as he struck. The Tidesinger dodged the blow, grunting as he deflected a fiery assault. The two Ardoni clashed before the portal, slashing against air and metal. Acchilean shot a close-range Aggrobeam at the Voltaris, but the shot was deflected. Ingressus launched an AggroSplit at Acchilean, but the Nestoris flipped away from the attack, slashing against the Voltaris. Ingressus spun off a rock and leapt at his friend, trying to stab him in the back, but the Nestoris dodged the strike. Just as Acchilean's finishing assault cut against the warrior, Ingressus used his Protesium Prime to block the assault and retreat from his foe. The two warriors readied themselves, prepared for whatever came next.

"They call me Deathsinger," Ingressus mused as he walked towards Acchilean, "Yet it was they who slaughtered my kin and denied me the Prime Songs which were rightfully mine!"

Rage covered Ingressus face as he spoke. "Why, Acchilean, do they call you Tidesinger?"

The Nestoris gave a weary sigh as he loosened his grip on his staff. "Because I have united the people of Ardonia against this nightmare you have created!"
