Chapter Sixteen; Party Boys
*immediate continuation*
"Nice to see you again." Zayn smirked, pulling the wooden door open to reveal an auburn colored living place that smelled of cinnamon cookies. Harry stepped in, converse light against the hardwood floor as he stood awkwardly at the entry way - his eyes scanning the room. He felt like a stranger walking into this house, and felt it was impolite to just sit, so he decided to wait for Niall's que.
He was greeted with a smiling Niall when his eyes landed on the bleached blonde irish lad. His baby blue eyes were soft, skin milky white just like Harry remembered it and he didn't why he remembered small details about people - but he liked it.
Liam was sitting on the couch, his hair messy and out of it's style, a black muscle t-shirt covering his upperbody and loose grey sweats hanging low on his wasit as he tapped away on his phone. Zayn's shoulder lightly brushed against Harry's when he walked past to join Liam on the lazy boy, thick brown couch that accented the room beautifully.
Zayn's bronzed skin seem to naturally blend with the tone and warm colors of the room, a misfits muscle tee covering his top half while dark grey sweats covered his lower; a single strand over hair falling in his carmel eyes. Harry's eyes last landed on a stanger, sitting in dark brown recliner near a large window, draped with long brown and tan curtains. The stranger had the same milky white skin, and baby blue eyes as Niall did - the only difference being his hair was a sandy brown color. Harry decided it was safe to assume they were brothers.
"Hey Niall." Harry whispered, his voice sounding hoarse and unfamiliar to even himself due to the fact that he'd been crying earlier. He blushed slightly, figuring he should have at least washed his face before he came because he was sure he still had tear stains rolling down his now reddened cheeks. His hair was probably dishovled aswell, leaving his cheeks warmer and him feeling quite embarrassed for being so awkward and looking like a complete trainwreck infront of all these people... all of Niall's friends. It wasn't a good feeling that settled and flipped in his stomach, and he shifted nervously from one foot to the other.
Niall gave him a small smile, patting the empty space next to him and examing Harry's appearance. Cheeks red and flushed, nose nearly mathcing thr crimson color and eyes slightly puffy and bright green orbs looking around awkwardly.
"Calm down. Breathe for me, okay? No need to be embarrassed." Niall assured with another smile. "Come sit." Niall motioned with his fingers. Harry admired that Niall just knew how to put up with him, and that he was always willing to. They weren't best friends or anything, but they were close enough, and that made Harry so happy because not only had they spent the day together - now he was going to be able to have a good night aswell. Harry made his way across the room, his converse squeaking slightly against the hardwood floor in the silence. Soon, he was sitting, sinking into the cushioned leather couch and breathing a sigh of relief. He squeezed his eyes shut briefly because he was relieved. He had Niall, and Niall could make him happy, could take his aching mind of everything.
"I'm fine... m'okay. Just, thanks so much for letting me come over." Harry smiled, opening his eyes and looking at the irish boy next him. He pushed his fingers through his curly hair, fixing his fringe and willing himself to push away any bad thoughts and all tears... hopefully.
