Chapter 4 - The big show

On the bus on your way to the arena, you can't help but feel sad. Marcus has never missed any of your shows. He's always done such a good job planning them, the interviews, and everything. His behavior has changed and he's been acting really strange ever since you met Tom and the band. But you quickly brush off the negative emotions and thoughts thinking brightly since this is going to be one of your best shows ever. 

You are so excited! When you walk out of the bus there are fans everywhere screaming and taking pictures of you. Succeeding making your way through the crowd you enter the arena and walk backstage to catch up with the crew before the show.

Backstage you see the band. Tom is sitting on the same couch you woke up on just the day before scrolling on his phone, and the others are just hanging around talking to each other. Tom sees you walk in wearing your stunning green sequin dress with your black guitar on your back. He instantly drops his phone looking at you up and down. 

-"Hey guys, you showed up! I'm glad" You say excitingly 

-"Of course we did," Bill says as he's also looking at your dress

-"Why didn't you say there's a green theme, everyone is wearing green except us," Gustav says embarrassed

-"Oh don't worry you're fine," You say patting Gustav on the back and laughing

Tom gets up from the couch and gets closer to you checking you out. You realize what he's doing, and your stomach gets filled with thousands of butterflies. 

-"You look great tonight, do you know that?" Tom mentions 

-"Yeah I know," You say keeping eye contact 

-"I told you the dress would be a hit," Bill says smiling

-"I agree, you look like a star," Georg adds and Gustav agrees

-"Thanks you guys, and enjoy the show!" You declare winking at Tom as you walk out on stage

Tom keeps looking at you the whole time until Bill elbows him in the stomach giving him an angry face. The band watches your performance backstage.

-"Stop hitting on her you moron" Bill speaks 

-"Why she totally digs it" Tom chuckles

-"That's the point she seems like a cool girl, don't make her one of your hookups," Bill begs

-"Plus you already have Ella, your girlfriend remember?" He adds

-"I agree, leave some girls for us man," Gustav says

-"Come on Ella and I aren't serious, you guys know I'm not a boyfriend type," Tom claims elbowing Bill back

-"We know, that's why you should stay away from y/n," Bill repeats

-"It depends, if she plays better than me I might be more interested" Tom laughs while shrugging

-"You're an idiot" Georg adds

Fog starts appearing on stage and music starts playing. The crowd goes crazy screaming and cheering for you. As the fog slowly disappears you get revealed and the crowd screams even louder. You start playing your most famous song and singing it at the same time. This feeling is the best feeling in the world. Everyone starts singing along with you and you play the guitar flawlessly. You're nailing your performance. Now it's time for a guitar solo. You play your heart out and totally crush it.

-"I'd say she's better than you," Georg says to Tom putting his arm around Tom's shoulder

-"I think she's better than all of us" Gustav adds staring at you from backstage
