Chapter 7 - Leaving

Slowly opening your eyes you see Tom sleeping on your chest with his arms around you. "He's so cute when he sleeps," You think to yourself. You were feeling anxious because you kept a small secret from Tom and the band, that you had to leave. The next destination on your tour was Germany, and you had to leave today. It was time for you to go to the toilet, you held your bladder the whole night since Tom was sleeping so peacefully. As you're calmly getting out of bed you accidentally wake him up. "dang it" You think to yourself

-"Already leaving?" He asks, pleading

-"No silly I just need to use the toilet, I'll be right back," You say kissing him on the forehead

-"I already miss you" He adds right when you close the door

The moment he said that your heart sank. How are you going to tell him that you're leaving? You overthink and have a lot of anxiety over the situation. You walk to the bathroom and do your business, as one does when suddenly you receive a text message. It was Bill.

Bill: Morning! Do you and Tom wanna join us for breakfast?

You: Morning, yeah sure! I'll go check with one of the nurses when Tom gets discharged 

You: I'll text you later, byeee

Bill: Bye, and take care of my brother (smile emoji)

When you enter Tom's room you see a nurse taking off his head plaster. 

-"Alright young man, as good as new" The nurse announces

-"Thank you, ma'am," Tom says, standing up and coming towards you

-"You're good to go, just go to the reception so they can discharge you," She says smiling

-"Thank you so much for taking care of him," You tell the nurse holding her hands

-"Oh dear, aren't you friendly! It was my pleasure" The nurse says while pulling away her stroller 

You and Tom walk over to the reception. The receptionist discharges him from the hospital. As you walk out you're holding hands and stop outside, facing each other.

-"Tom... I got to tell you something" You start really nervous

-"I'm all ears," He says still holding your hands

-"I have to-" You get interrupted by a phone call, it was Georg, you put him on speaker

-"Hello, we're coming to pick you and Tom up from the hospital," Georg says 

-"Tell Tom to get his ass out of bed" He adds 

-"My ass is out bro" Tom chuckles

-"Yoo glad you're better" Georg answer laughing

-"See you guys in 5 minutes," He says after shortly ending the call

-"So, what were you saying?" Tom asks reaching to your hands to hold them

-"Oh that, it was nothing," You say nervously 

-"Are you sure? It seemed important" He questions

-"Yeah, totally!" You say looking away

-"I can tell you're lying," He says rolling his eyes

-"Okay, okay you got me," You reveal the lie, facing the ground

A minute later you hear a loud honk from the parking lot. 

-"Georg has the best timings" Tom sighs

As you and Tom walk up to the car you forget that you're still holding hands and everyone is cheering, making weird sounds. 

-"Oooh looks like there's love in the air" Gustav laughs

-"Shut up Gustav" Tom says

-"Oh drop the attitude hospital boy" Bill replies

-"Get in love-birds" Georg mocks, winking at Tom to annoy him

Tom drags Gustav out of the front seat and sits shotgun. You sit in the backseat in the middle with Bill on your left and now Gustav on your right, with Georg driving. The whole ride to the restaurant they teased you and Tom, but you didn't really mind because you liked him. A lot. You were figuring out how to tell the band about you leaving. Tried to make up conversations in your head but none were good enough. Finally, you reach the restaurant after what felt like hours, only because of Georg's atrocious driving. As you reach the restaurant you realize it's a fancy brunch place. Outside there's a man asking for reservations.

-"Do we have a reservation?" You ask 

-"Of course, who do you think I am" Bill replies laughing

-"Only the best for the best" Georg adds

All 5 of you follow a waiter who places you at a table next to a big window with red curtains. All tableware was gold. 

-"Wow, this really is something," You say, amazed

-"I know my places" Bill winks

-"You guys should've said something I'm so underdressed" You claim

-"Don't worry you look good in everything" Tom says looking at you from across the table

-"I have to agree," Gustav adds

Tom is giving Gustav a deadly stare. Gustav responds by sticking his tongue out. You giggle. Soon after the waiter was back to take your orders. You decide to go for a Swedish dish. It was a sandwich with smoked raw salmon and dill on top. It sounded delicious. The band kept making jokes, talking, and having a great time. You didn't want to ruin the vibe by telling them, so you just join in their conversations. The time flies really fast. You've already been at the restaurant for an hour. After the waiter leaves the bill you decide to tell them.

-"Guys I have an announcement to make" You start, feeling your legs shaking

-"What's up" Bill questions

-"Okay so, I'm actually on tour and I'm leaving," You start

-"Tonight..." You add

The band just looks at each other in shock, maybe even sadness.

-"Why didn't you say you were on tour?" Georg asks

-"I don't know, simply didn't come up," You say

-"Aren't you guys also on tour or something? Why else would you stay at a hotel?" You ask the band

-"We were, that was our last show actually" Bill states

-"And since we met you we decided to stay longer in town," Gustav says

-"We're originally from Germany" he continues

-"Germany?" You ask excitedly

-"Yes? Why so excited" Georg laughs

-"Because that's my next show location!" You answer, smiling 

-"Will you guys follow me on tour?" You beg them

-"We will have to think about it" Tom responds

Tom hasn't spoken or looked at you since you said you were leaving. You were scared he was mad, as she should because you should've told him a while ago. Especially him since you were in love.
