Yn was hoping they would forget about her. That way she could sit in the dormitory alone for a while. But that all washed away when she heard a knock at the door.
She sighed. "Yeah," she called out, pulling her sweater over her head. When she finally pulled it around her waist and looked up, she saw Draco standing in the door and suddenly became extremely aware of her exposed legs that her pyjama shorts barely covered. "How did you get up here?" She asked.
"Come Yn. Give me some credit. Can I come in?" Draco pointed into the room, one hand still in his pocket.
Yn nodded, retreating back to the mirror.
Draco looked over the trinket on Yn's table, in particular a gilded frame that held a picture Yn as a child and her parent. Yn was the spitting image of her mother, but with her father's smile. "Aren't you coming?"
"I'm sorry," she stuttered in confusion, still overcoming the irritation of the intrusion.
"Adrian's thing." Draco placed the photo back down.
"Ohhh. I hoped no one would miss me." Yn combed through her hair.
Draco's hand paused, hovering over the rings on the table. "I missed you." he muttered.
"What?" she dropped her hairbrush on the bed.
"What?" he parroted, spinning around to face her.
"No, I heard you," she tucked her wet her behind her ear, the shorter strands flinging forward again.
"Then why did you say 'what' like you didn't hear, if you heard me?" Draco towered over her.
"Because I can't believe you," She stepped back to create some distance.
"What? What can't you believe." Draco stepped forward.
Yn's legs hit the edge of her bed when she shuffled back again. "That you are trying your little games on me."
"What games?" Draco was growing agitated.
"You can't be fucking serious." Yn placed her hand on his chest to push him away from her. Then tried to sidestep around him.
Before she could, Draco seized her wrist and prevented her from moving. "What fucking games," he gritted his teeth.
Yn rolled her eyes.
"No come on. What fucking games?" Draco was shouting by then.
Yn caved. "Have I or have I not made it abundantly clear that I'm not interested in you. I am not interested in having a boyfriend. So why the fuck do you keep doing all this fucked up flirty shit."
"Who said I want to be your boyfriend," Draco smirked.
But Yn's next words wiped that smile right of his face. "I've already told you Draco that I won't tell anyone about your fucked up family politics. So, you are free to ignore me and pretend I don't exist. I don't need anything in return. You may not be used to this, but I have a moral compass. I'm not going to gossip about you or your father. Your family's reputation whatever's left of it, will remain intact from my side."
Yn tugged her arm away, but Draco kept a firm grasp of it. "Is that what you think this is all about. Me wanting you to keep your mouth shut. Love, fear would work better for that. I wish that was all I wanted."
"Then what do you want." Yn voice rose as Draco's had.
"I want the exact opposite."
"What," Her eyebrows twitched in confusion.
Draco gruffly replied. "I want to hear you scream my name and only my name."
Yn froze. Her eyes wide. "Get the fuck out" she whispered, barely audible.
"What?" he said in surprise.
"I said get the fuck out," she screamed.
"What. No" he planted his feet firmly.
"Is this because of the whole muggle born comment." She violently shook her head in disgust. "Because you think that my ex was muggle born so you're trying to take up some moral obligation to correct me and ensure that the sacred 28 remain untainted. How? By trying to get me to sleep with you so that I am converted." She violently ripped her hand out of his hold. "Just so you know Matthew is pure blood."
"Ex?" Draco called out.
"Is that what you really got out of this whole spiel. Brilliant." She turned away to march toward the door to show Draco out.
Again, Draco pulled her back holding her face in his hands. "No this is about that fact that I think I'm going mad. Because. I... Can't stop thinking about you." His eyes skittered between both her eyes. The he leaned down and pressed his lips against her. His hands sliding down her throat and back into her hair.
Yn's lips were suddenly on fire. But she was completely frozen. Because with the one action. His lips against her. He had poured all his thoughts into her.
When Draco pulled back long enough to look in her eyes, he was marvelled by the purple swells that pooled on the surface of her iris.
Because of her anger her guard had been down. She made a mistake. Internally she was kicking herself. She made a mistake, and it was all because of ta boy. She knew this would be dangerous for her. On the other hand, she couldn't disregard the warmth that spread through her body. Her magical essence was overjoyed. She had never had that reaction before. And now she was confused.
"You need to leave," she said, her voice barely audible. "Now," she shouted louder when he didn't move.
Draco sulked and immediately ceased contact with her. He clenched his jaw and strode to the door, but he paused in the door. "I know you felt it Yn. And I saw it in your eyes."
"Shit," Yn closed her eyes in annoyance. He had seen. And she wasn't sure that she could rely on his silence. Maybe her father had been right. Coming to Hogwarts may have been a mistake. She had only been here a week and she had already lost control and risked exposing herself.
Yn slammed the door shut and flung herself on her bed burying her face in the pillow and screaming as loud as she could.
